One of the oldest shops of Surat that serves authentic surati delicacies which include Undhiyu, Farali Petis, Farali Sabudana Khichadi, Khaja, etc...

Visited on 31st July 2019. Had Puri-bhaji (correct name Puri & Batata-nu-shaak). Too good, very tasty. Might be the best puri-bhaji I've had. When I got there the puris were cold, should be even better when hot. Bit oily, but I really liked it. The correct name is "Joshi Jeshankar Dhanjibhai Bhajiawala", I think, I'm not a Guju. Wish there was a place to eat right there, and wish the menu-board was also in English/Hindi.

The authentic taste of Gujarati farsan and some typical and unique dishes like gughara and kachori. Must visit and enjoy.

Jai Shanker Dhanji Bhajiyawala is mainly famous for Bhusu,Jalebi and Fataka( one of the type of samosa).It has place for eating snacks there on the first floor.Other items available are three color Dhokla,Khaman, Ratalu Puri,Undhiyu,sabudana wada. Seasonal Fried Yam you will get on order.Minimum order of Fried Yam should be 1 kg.It is located in the middle of Chauta bazaar.

Visited today had Undhiyu. Trust me it was the worst Undhiyu i had in my life. Also the hygiene of the place was pathetic. Please avoid.

The worst unhygienic place . The undhiyu is an avoid ramji damodar bhajiya wala is 100 times better.
