Jai Durga Handloom handicraft Emporium - Hindu temple in Manali - Kullu, India

It is an old temple dedicated to sage Manu - the Indian Sage, who was believed to be the creator of this world. It is located in old Manali town far from busy and crowded place in Manali. It is highly recommended to visit this temple on foot as it'll let you experience local touch of the town. On the way you'll get a step closer to the mother Nature. The beauty surrounding the Temple will get amplified once you have reached the temple. On the way you'll encounter old local house, a lots of cafes and haven to backpackers as there are lots of hostels in the nearby.

Good temple and old Manali architecture but very poorly maintained, have beautiful sculptures of God and goddesses but being not looked after. Very sad to see condition of this beautiful temple. Locals were playing cricket outside inside it's boundary. The concerned authorities should immediately do something and hand it over to archaeological survey for its upkeep, otherwise a beautiful treasure.

It's a newer temple built in an indigenous style. But I didn't find it fascinating. We went there late in the evening, so instead of seeing the temple more, we took a walk through the narrow roads, though people's houses and the places there, which was rewarding as we saw the local people, their life and had a great chat in the process.

Another oldest temple and sight seeing of Manali. This is situated near Manali club house but you have to take the opposite of the club house road after crossing the bridge to reach the temple. The road is too narrow to pass two cars at a same time. Now, the temple is in such a height that you can see the snow covered mountains from this place very well. This wooden temple looks very beautiful taking the blue sky behind it. You must go there to see this temple. The blue mountains covered with snow looks very very beautiful from this temple

This temple is dedicated to Sage Manu, who is believed to be creator of human race. This temple is located in old Manali. You can take an auto till up, as there is a short climbing there. Overall it's a good place to visit.

A decent and peaceful place that can be reached after manoeuvring through narrow roads that are increasingly inclined as you reach the place. You reach the temple after a few hundred meters of walk only path which is littered with views of old houses and their beautiful terraces There are stunning views to see after reaching there, snow capped mountains can be seen from a distance which seem to be coated in a sheen of silver and the vista in between. The architecture of temple is also interesting from outside while the insides are more traditional and is made with elegant woodwork

This temple is of manu rishi. Old temple with amazing architecture. Tip: Visit this place during night to witness twinkling stars and lightened City. The view is just amazing. (Temple get closed around 7-7:30pm time might vary with season) You will also find little kids playing around if interacting with local is your thing then they will be more than happy to play and have a chit chat with you. Also you can stop by a not so crowded temple like structure property (it's in right hand side when you go up for manu temple) surrounded by Himachali Homes around and a beautiful view of snow capped mountains

Manu temple is located at awesome location in old manali. The houses here are mostly wooden. The temple's architecture itself attracts thousand of tourists. From here you can see the snow capped mountain. The road which leads you to old manali is very narrow road and its slope is slightly increasing as you reached near the temple.
