Jai Bhuvaneswari Miltry Hotel - Restaurant in Kirangoor - Mandya, India

It is a 50 years old military hotel in srirangapatna(Bangalore mysore highway). Food was not up to the mark. The taste was very average. We tried chicken fry, mutton chops, and mutton kheema. After checking some reviews and videos on YouTube, we thought it was good to eat. After visiting, it made me sad with the taste. The meat was not good it was a bit stinky.

Very bad experience. The taste is horrible. Bad service. Unhygienic hotel service. Not at all recommended. The price is also quite expensive.

Visited this place after checking the online reviews. Not worth the visit . Overhyped. I have visited many other military hotels serving much better food . We tried the mutton chops , mutton kaima balls , ragi mudde , mutton paaya soup , mutton liver , biryani , chicken fry. We only liked the mutton chops . They use the same gravy for all their mutton dishes and the gravy is very watery and doesn't pack the punch. There are some much better in mysore which one can try out than this place.

Its a normal hotel with tasty food. Don't expect too much ambience inside. Very less options. Went for breakfast there. Chicken and Mutton gravy with idli was just awesome. Idli was so soft and chicken was well cooked. Friend's had mutton chops, kheema and they loved it. Seemed like authentic and homely food. Ample parking space.

Newly renovated restaurant, but still maintaining the same taste. The last time I visited this restaurant was in 2013. It's 2023, a good improvement. Mutton's taste is mouth licking and awesome. Any Sunday is the best day to visit this restaurant.

This place is practically known to everyone and is situated at a place called Baburayanakoppalu, Srirangapatna. It was established nearly 70 years ago. They serve typical regional items like Muddhe and Gravy and all the mutton and chicken items. In the morning people throng this place for Thatte Idli and Mutton Leg Soup(Paya). Also available Keema Balls, Goat Head chops, Mutton Chops, Liver fry etc.,Don't expect this to be the most hygienic place as also the bearers who are localites with rowdish attitude. Food are spicy and tasty. Prices are fairly cheap. But for the connoisseurs of rustic non veg delicacies, this is a must visit place.

There are very few options. Tried Leg soup and Chicken biryani. The taste was very average.

When the same hotel was in Old Red Smoky Building, rebuilt at the same place now.. the taste of all items were simply superb. Now the Ambience is better.. buy the taste has taken a beating.. probably due to Rush or demand, as they may say, I feel it is like the Confidence of Indian Cricket Team before the CWC Finals. Past glory speaks about past only. I5s abou5 persistence and consistence which gives you achievement. Same holds good for the dises of Jai Bhuvaneshwari too. Yesterday, on CWC Finals Day when I visited, ordered for BOTI.. was astonished and surprised that it was Half Boiled.. not properly cooked and the taste was awful. I formed the same to the waiter too... but he just laughed away. Dear Management, Better get your act back to make the food delicious as it is known for.
