Great architecture and nice landscaping with nice and beautiful gardens and lakes and water bodies. With advanced technologies like water pumping and water filtration and ample area this palace is beautiful and nice yet very soothing and calm place. One can spend around 2 to 3 hours and if you have ample time spending a full evening when the place is not too crowded. So a great place to relax and breath in fresh air and just relax and feel the grandeur of the past. So naturally a nice place not to be missed.

I think I've a nerve that's connected to historical places like this...old forts and palaces... hills and greens... everything that takes me to the old times...I like to visit. Cold wind and a charm of nature will make you happy and calm. Don't miss to watch Light show of 30 minutes revealing history of Jahaz Mahaz. Entry ticket is of Rs 25/- per person. Public Toilets are present nearby Mahal.

Both side there is pound and it looks like a ship between the lake. Amazing historical place. Most of the parts are broken down now due to non maintenance. July to January is best time to visit.

I always love going to historical monuments , they are architecturally so sound far far better than todays engineering designs ! There are palaces in the premises with no foundation , loved to see them and to get to know about them ! Even in scortching heat the chambers of jahaz mahal were so cool , hats off to the people who built it !!! There were harem , jharokha , baodi , takhana ,royal palace and various gardens along with jahaz mahal !!! And at around 7.30 pm they have a light show going on where they talk about rich heritage of mandav which occurs till 9 pm !! Theres a small museum as well here where you get to know the inspiration to stone carvings , ancient hindu gods and goddess and some arabic write outs
