The Jahangirabad Palace is said to be huge and the locals here reminisce the times. A banter with a generation or two older, will reveal exquisite details of the splendour that the palace was at one point in time. Beautiful building wrongly posted as a museum, the palace is the residence of a personal friend Raja Jamal Rasool Khan. One may have seen it in Bollywood movies as his office sometimes gives parts of the palace for major film shoots. The front lawn was occassionally given out for functions but that was discontinued a few years ago.
Very beautiful palace in the heart of Lucknow city. It is all white inside and outside. Many popular hindi movies are shot here like Umrao Jan, Gadar etc. This is also very famous venue for marriages. The Raja and his family still live in the palace.
