Jagat Palace - Hotel in Pushkar - Ajmer, India

Overall not a hotel i would recommend. The people at the reception are not at all suitable for hospitality business. All cold and rude. We weren't provided enough water bottles. 2 500ml water in a day that's it. The reply from the operator is also not good. No dental kit, tissues in the room. The shower area is not at all friendly, an old person might trip and fall while entering the bathtub. The rooms have window ac's and they are positioned away from the bed, we had to sleep on the floor close to the ac as the ac air wasn't reaching our bed. Only the service staff were courteous apart from that would not stay here ever again. I'm actually pretty suprised by looking at the positive reviews. The place needs some training in hospitality. You don't feel welcome here.

If there would have been an option to give 0 star then I would have given that....very bad experience..AC and Fridge doesn't work properly....staff is rude specially the sales manager & the owner...lights of garden was off at night we were using torch and when we asked to turn on they said,"yaha pe to daily lights off hi rehti hai"....kids were very scared..services were slow and the receptionist was convening wrong information we asked for timing of pool they told us 7am to 9pm. We planned the safari and dinner time accordingly but after we came from safari the said that timing are only till 7pm for pool..there was a very creepy feeling as lights very dim and most of them were off...staff was arrogant..none of them were trained and attentive..from the staff one of them said that this hotel is only for European clients and not for Indians and that,"kabhi hotel mein ruke nahi ho kya" really hurt..I will not recommend anyone at all to stay here at all

Really lovely grounds and buildings. Each room has handpainted wall trims and beautifully carved doors and woodwork. Room and bathroom are large, bed is comfy, view over the gardens is lovely. Staff very attentive and obliging. The pool is huge and the entire area is marble with a gorgeous pavilion. The property was built 20-25 years ago but there is so much stone carving and beautiful features you feel like it is hundreds of years old. Close to the centre of town, but very quiet. Note Pushkar is a religious town so no alcohol is served and only vegetarian food (no eggs).

The staff was hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was of high class and delicious. Room amenities are all what you need and more. I would highly recommend this place.

OMG. This Hotel is from the Movie that tells the story of the English Empire. Everything here is vintage and old, yet it is functioning. The food here is better than in any hotel I have visited in India.

Nous adorons cet hotel. Apres plusieurs sejours nous y reviendrons encore. Un oasis au milieu du desert avec une superbe piscine. Le staff (qui est reste le meme malgre la crise Covid ) est au top, tres professionnel et gentil. La cuisine veg est un regal. Les equipements ne sont pas parfaits mais il y a toujours une solution si nous demandons avec respect (pour ceux qui souhaitent la perfection peut-etre aller a Zurich et non pas a Pushkar ). Merci, nous esperons pour vous une excellente prochaine saison touristique

A nice place to stay in Pushkar. Location is good, it is located at the centre of Pushkar, main market and lake are at 300-400 metres away that is very good part. Property gives a glimpse of Rajasthani tradition and heritage. Rooms are spacious and equipped with bathtub, overall interior was like 80's or 90's, but it was amazing. Outside view was fantastic along with mountain view. I attended marriage function there and approximately 400-500 people were there at the time, so it can easily accommodate a great number of people at a time with no compromise in the services. Overall it was a nice stay there will look forward to stay in this place once again if I get a chance.
