I visited the Jagannath temple at Ratu when i went to Chotanagpur Fun castle. The temple is located opposite to Chotanagpur Fun castle and beside Ratu Palace. The temple is not to be confused with the Jagannath temple at Ranchi. Though it houses same deity Jagannath, Subhadra and Balabhadra. It is mainly visited during Rath Yatra. The temple at Ratu was built by the Raja of Ratu for his personal offering But later it was opened to all. It is a very small temple compared to Jagannath temple at Ranchi city. But if you visit Fun castle , you can go to.see this temple. You will also see the Ratu palace though the entry to palace is not allowed except during Durga Puja. There is also a large playground nearby. So it is a good place for children. The place is calm and quite.
