Jagannath Shrine - Hindu temple in Chennai, Kanathur Reddykuppam - Chengalpattu, India

Loved the temple. Visited around 5 30 pm. Many trees are there inside the temple which make the place a little cooler than outside. Separate hand washing and shoe storage area before entering the temple. The structure of the temple is very beautiful. One can easily spend around 30 minutes at this place. Evening prasad is also available. A washroom is also available (for both males and females). The only thing is that the road which connects to the main road is not good (broken patches, water logging, waste). One can come by bicycle, bike or car.

Inside chennai you will get the feeling of odisha. It's on the way Mahabalipuram ECR road. It's 7 km from ISKON temple and near kovalam. If you want to get Prasad in the noon they call them and inform. It is very clam and good place to visit if you like temples. Please note that it remains closed from 12.30 to 3.30 pm. Opening time is 6.30 am to 12.30 pm then 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm. A must visit place .. JOY JAGANNATH

Jagannath temple is one of the Kalinga architecture temple in Tamil Nadu. It's so beautiful and you can have blessings of lord Jagannath . You can visit any time there is mostly no closing time. Recommended time is before 1 pm afternoon and you can have plenty of good time. You feel peace and you can have the vibe of odia tradition. You can take your children and teach them god's and history of Kalinga by drawings painted inside temple. Must visit once if you are in Chennai and it's 25 km away from railway station.

It was a very amazing and peaceful temple on the shore of beach.. Its definitely a hidden gem...must visit.
