Jagadish Saavaji Bhojanalaya - Non Vegetarian Restaurant in Nagpur - Nagpur, India

Please don't be impressed by vlogs which are probably being paid for to mislead people. We felt cheated by the extent of their dishonesty. We wanted to taste the unique spicy saoji flavour and did get it to an extent but you won't like paying 400 for a chicken dish in which 2 out of 5 promised pieces are chicken liver bits and the other three are thin bones. We had ordered one dry chicken which wasn't cooked separately but three skinny pieces and two liver bits were pulled out of regular dish and served. Can't complain about the gravy and it's abundance but I'm surely not going there again. If you still decide to go there please be warned to make sure what comes on the plate before eating it. They have earned a big name over the years but don't seem inclined to give back value for your hard earned money.

Very famous hotel for Saoji Mutton but quality of Mutton is poor. Mainly Masala used in the Mutton dish us not good quality. Size of Mutton pieces were good. Chapati little made from maida

First time visiting Nagpur. Visited in the month of October 2023. First time eating Saoji Masala dishes. This place has a lot of footfalls throughout the day, and is famous for a variety of Saoji masala dishes both veg and non veg. They have a thali system, where veg thali is priced between Rs.250-350 for 1 person meal only. Their Non veg thali is priced between Rs.350-500 for 1 person only. Thali Sharing is not allowed. And They do not serve individual dishes unless you order a full thali. I personally did not like the food overall. Ordered 1 veg Thali (Khas khas Kanda) and 2 Non veg Thali ( Chicken keema dry and Chicken masala dry) The Chicken was undercooked or Half cooked and I could feel the taste of raw blood while eating the chicken masala. They only serve 5 small pieces of chicken in every plate. Their masala was very salty. Not to forget the actual Saoji food is extremely Oily and Spicy, order accordingly. This place was recommended to me by one of my friend. I had ordered Veg Patodi with Tandoori Naan. Be ready to get teary eyed, boy the food was spicy. I was warned by my friend about the spicy food. The patodi was filled with tarri/rassa. Even though being spicy it tasted good. Naan could've been much better it was okaish. You have thaali option too whereas you get free refill of Chapati and White rice. There can be improvement in ambiance to make it look more welcome. Staff was polite enough to help me out with menu and service was good was well.

Yummy food. I found their thali concept a bit different to that in Mumbai or Pune. Here you get a dish and curry of your choice and unlimited chapati and rice. No solkadhis or pandhra-tambda rassas. Otherwise perfect for an empty stomach craving meat.

Food taste was authentic but cleanliness and staff clothing sense was sub-standard. The cleaning staff dress looks very very ordinary, not sure if they are permanent. It was putting down the scale of the place. Saoji chicken is must try and Maral fish fry was very good

So finally after a long time we planned for dine in and succeeded. Jagdish Saoji opportunity Gandhi Sagar ( Shukarawari Talaw) So as usual we jumped in to the restaurant and wait for waiter to take our order after some time we got to know we need to use menu card and like self service had to go to counter and give order at main counter and I asked them we need mutton and kheema and egg curry they won't ask me for roti or rice and directly gave me bill....it was shocking as first time I saw somthing like this in Nagpur. Bill before eating anything in Saoji.... Thats new experience for all of us... after some time they started serving us and so nicely they served us rotis and all the dishes we ordered and we got to know rotis and rice is unlimited... Now here is my actual review... Taste...really great staff... very polite and friendly... order whatever you want you will get everything delicious and rotis and rice hot and warm as you expect all the time... ambience is beautiful. Hygiene was completely maintained... overall one of the best Saoji Restaurant in Nagpur. Thanks to Jagdish Saoji Bhojanalay Only one request it will be great if you serve cold drinks it will be like haven in summer....

I'm posting photographs of what we order.. doesn't it looks mouthwatering?? But..but..but.. the test was disgusting, they just ruined my friends birthday party.. We just eat some and left full table as it is and then went to an wedding and complete our dinner there.. Just dont waste your money here.. As they offer unimited roti chawal with your any order.. but its not worth to go there..
