Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar - Biryani restaurant in Mumbai - Mumbai, India

This was the first time I visited this place even that was not planned, we actually wanted to go to some other restaurant but by the time we reach there it was closed so owner of that restaurant only suggested we go to Jaffer Bhai's place as it was very close to this place. We haven't heard about this place before as we were a visitor in the city but my partner was glad that we ended up there as he got to eat tasty Biryani. Me being vegetarian I opted for just hot and sour soup which was okay in taste but this place seemed very famous in Mumbai as people kept coming with group of friends, family and they have 4 more outlets in other areas of Mumbai. Ambiance is decent and clean. Service was very nice.

Food is yumm...beware about quantity..one dish can serve 2 people easily would love to visit again ..

Mutton nihari and reshmi paratha is highly highly recommended and must try if you are non vegetarian.... exactly same taste even after trying after some many years...go for it

The service star is just for MR. FAISAL but the taste of the chicken biryani and prawns biryani is outstanding the place could be a bit less with the customers noise

It is nice place for Non-Veg Lovers but has very limited options for Veg. I would recommend to eat only Arabic cuisine and don't try any other options. We order Veg Paneer Acchari but it was not available and only other option was Panner tikka so we had to order Panner chilly dry from there chinese options but it was not worth it. It more like a Arabic dish trying to be a Wannabe Chinese Dish, it was that bad. Next we order Panner Tikka Biriyani it was good but the accompanying raita was too sweet. My Non-vegetarian friends had ordered Chicken Tikka & Chiken Biriyani & they said it tasted good. For desert we order Caramel Custard but that too was ok. Overall I would say if you have never visited this place you should try once but will not go there again, atleast for Veg foods.

We were in the mood for Kebabs .. and Delhi Darbar did not disappoint. We ordered the mix grill platter and then a lucknow kebab.. all marinated and grilled to perfection. Dessert was a decadent Shahi Tukda. Perfect will surely be back.
