We went there for a Lunch. A total of 14 members. When we arrived there it was full house and we some how managed to find tables. Since we had some time constraints we didn't try a lot of dishes there. We tried Chicken and Mutton Biriyani, Prawn Fry, Nethili Fry and Tandoori Chicken all tasted delicious and the quality and quantity is adequate. Their service was also fine even though the crowd was not easily manageable. Had adequate parking space as well. The price is affordable and worth the money.
I did not like the taste of the food. We ordered chicken biriyani and garlic chicken. They need to improve the taste. Even the look of the food did not give the feel to eat.
Good Kerala cuisine under a reasonable price point. Chicken chukka and fish fry was good enough. Staff were helpful, cleanliness could have been improved. Overall a good experience.

A great place for tourists, food may take some delay because of too many orders, but it's worth waiting. In peak time getting a seat is also bit difficult since they serve great taste.
Un higiene atmosphere. Fully surrounded with flyby. No proper maintenance, flyby is mainly coming from the nearest uncleaned toilet. Food taste also not satisfied

The best cafe in Vattakanal. They serve Israeli dishes mainly. We have visited Althafs every time we visited vattakanal. My favourite is the schnitzel plate , hot chocolate and Nutella pancake. Best food with the best view.
