Beautiful property nestled in the mountains...this has to be the most pristine and well kept Taj properties I have visited in a while. The food and service at the Fern tree was good, although the continental food like the salads or roast chicken wasnt upto the mark. The views from the resort, particularly the lobby are the USP of this property. The temperature controlled pool was outstanding and my daughter loved it. Swimming in the midst of clouds was an experience of a lifetime. Use the rapid swim wear drier in the changing rooms, its a godsend especially during the rains. Jiva spa services were also exceptional. The uphill terrain of the resort might be difficult for elderly or small kids, but the buggy service is useful for such circumstances. One needs to be patient about buggy service, its difficult to get buggies if you descend upto the lotus pond. We had to wait upto 25 mins at one time and ended up walking back. Visit this property to take a break from your hectic citylife and experience true 'Tajness'

PEOPLE, Property and Phood! Really worth the experience... Atharva, the inspired chef from the grills restaurant... (paan ice-cream), Kodagu cuisine at Nallaki & Ferntree where Raunak makes a mean tea... Shaksham makes good cocktails... and Janki takes care of the food service. Real warm people and fantastic property. Please do not miss the Coorg Conservatory where a world wise Coorgi service man talks proudly of the heritage he represents... wholistic experience from Sun Up to Sun Down... and everything in between....
One of the best spa with a variety of therapies and a beautiful gudda bath.. A traditional bath with the hot water boiled in a copper vessel on wood fire.
