it was a wonderful experience of mine in taj exotica resort and spa. in that hotel their is everything is perfect. welcome music, with welcome coconut drink, hospitality was amazing..... risha were connect with us she explained everything about the hotel. the buffet was awesome... I was totally confused what should I eat... their was huge breakfast, milkshakes, fruit salads choices with perfection with well designed plates. they have a every day plan... I enjoyed a lot in beach, cycling, swimming pool. when I checked out from that hotel they gave me a small khushiyali lucky coin for my future as a blessing. I urged you too come and have the best of the best experience in Taj exotica because it is like heaven on the earth that's it Everything was amazing ovwr here there is no any single point to make bad review hotel Taj BECAUSE it was truly truly truly awesome experience From me and my all firends thanks to Taj exotica to serving us best service thank you very much Spa was wonder fulll

The treatments at Jiva Spa are nothing short of exceptional, I tried the signature treatment ABHISHEKA and was blown away by the level of skill and care. The result was a feeling of complete relaxation and rejuvenation at this luxurious experience.

My wife and I took a couple spa (Jeevanya treatment) on May 15th, 2022 in Jiva Spa at Taj Exotica, Benaulim Goa. I'm writing this review to share my true experience with Jiva. It was our anniversary and we wished to have a very relaxing experience. After researching a few starred spa resorts around Goa, we decided to give Jiva Spa at Taj Exotica a go. Overall the 'massage' was good but not the 'spa' experience. The masseur, Vipin was experienced in massaging the right, sensitive points. He exerted the right amount of pressure and that felt relaxing. However, the spa experience and the masseur as a whole lacked the gentleness and touch of class as expected from Taj. Overall it was an experience we would expect from a regular, standalone and cheaper spa center. A few things I'd like to comment about my experience: We were welcomed well by Yash and Dr. Anirudh and briefed well about our treatment. The pre-spa drink made of jaggery, Tulsi and lemon was very nice. Here are a few events that made my spa experience not totally pleasurable however. - when I was let in the steam room, the steamer started only about 3 minuets of me being inside (this I was informed). However, the attendent knocked literally 30 secs after the steam started and asked me to step out. Vipin however told me that it was okay and let me stay in longer - the spa room setup was decent or nice I'd say. But the masseurs had to be told to dim the lighting after they had already started the therapy. - There was no music playing almost all through our scrub which was given to us at the beginning. After checking with the masseurs about the music, they played it but the music was too soft and stopped after a couple of minutes. They said they have some technical issues and there won't be music playing. We told them this is not acceptable and asked them to at least play spa music on their phone to which they told us that we can play the same on our phones. Our phones were kept in the locker in another room and I wasn't happy that they expected us to play our own music that too in the middle of our therapy. After insisting a bit they managed to get the music playing but again, the music was not right for a spa environment. It was more meditational rather then mind relaxing and/or would be more suitable for an Ayurvedic Spa treatment and not for an Aroma Spa Therapy. The music kept buffering in between distributing my mental state during the spa. I'm a musician myself and maybe my ears were too sensitive to the feel and sound of the music. To me music matters a lot during spa therapy. - when we were told to take a shower after our scrub, both the masseurs were in the spa room itself, the shower area had a transparent glass partition. When we asked them whether they'll be inside, they told us yes, they would since they had to prepare the bed for the massage therapy. That made us a bit uncomfortable with the lack of privacy in the spa room. - Though Vipin is good at his massage skills, he lacked the gentleness. The feet, hands or head sometimes didn't get the gentle lower down to the bed/pillow or the body covering sheet was not covered or uncovered gently enough as we experienced at some of the other good spas we've taken in the past. - when Vipin had to get off the bed, he put his weight on my thigh and got off, that was distributing to a relaxed mind. Or when he moved around the bed, he rested his hand on my leg to maneuver himself to the other side. In between after a brief break of the massage, hot towels were suddenly put on my back and chest at multiple instances awakening me from a restful state of mind. - Finally, the treatment didn't have the finishing touch. It felt like it ended abruptly and I was told, "Sir, your treatment is now complete." Instead of a relaxing experience, it felt more like a timed session that I booked myself for. Overall, though our spa experience was not even close to our expectations and didn't serve the purpose of our relaxation, but the people we met at Jiva were nice and polite.

I wouldn't recommend this spa at all. Trust me it's difficult to write a bad review when the people you met there were very nice and warm. And no complaints about the entire staff at the spa as they were nuce and warm but having said that our experience of the "spa" was the worst of all we had have in Goa so far. The massage was OK (though my husband ended with a terrible neck pain, which just got worst today as I am writing this review, it's Day 3 from our spa date) but there was no spa feeling to it. There was no professional touch. I mean I know a girl who come home and give me a massage at the comfort of my house at the 1/10th price. She is very well trained and is good but you go to a spa to experience that pampered feeling, professionalism, your intention is to relax. It's a waste of money trust me. I have experienced 20+ spas in Goa and for the price they charged me vs the services they provided, I honestly felt cheated. The experience was more like going to a local road side massage center in terms of professionalism. I am not naming the therapist here as she was a sweet girl and was good with her massage but I feel they are not trained well to work in a spa. Taj you disappointed us big time.

Jiva Spa at Taj Exotica Goa is an amazing amazing place. Best way to spend your afternoon is to take a spa have lunch at one of the restraunts and enjoy the beach.

What a beautiful experience we had, especially the staff they were so helpful and friendly and made us so comfortable during our treatment. One of our friends who is claustrophobic was assisted by one of the staff to the steam room. The staff even recommends us which treatment we should do if we have chosen a wrong treatment. Me and my friends absolutely loved the spa and the stay at Taj Exotic was an other amazing experience in itself

I had a coconut/ poppy seed body scrub as well as a facial. Two days later I had a massage. The best I have had in Goa! Absolutely recommend this place. The staff are all very very curteous.
