Historical place - excellent one. This monumental Statue depicts the erstwhile fact that J. N.Tata founded the Institute in association and helps of the then Maharajah of Mysore under the instructions and guidance of Swami Vivekananda in the year 1909. This is located at the heart of this coveted research Institute in front of the main administrative building. The place is very famous and one must visit once in this campus.
