Tried this authentic ARCOT biryani while on my 2 days trip to Puducherry Being a traditional biryani in that area since 1990, we straightly went with ordering both their signature biryanis with non veg sides. Chicken biryani Mutton biryani Kaadai fry Located on a very busy street, parking might be a little difficult. So better plan to go there in a 2 wheeler preferably. Good place to have tasty lunch if you are travelling in pondicherry. Its budget friendly. Located on roadside. So its gets crowdy and you may need to wait in queue to order. Service is not so good. Cleanliness can be improved. But if you are travelling in group its a good choice which can fit in your pocket. We tried Bucket Biriyani for four people which was enough for 5 people.
Awesome briyani with less masala... fish fingers are great...chicken wings and chicken 65 are crispy and tasty.. It's a bit spicy so kids may not like it.... For a lesser price this is a jackpot... Go for it....
Only few of the biriyani in Pondy are authentic, JA Arcot is one of those.. Previously when I was child, the food and quality were ultimate delicious. They were service minded. Recently I visited, last week, there was two prices in chicken biriyani and beef biriyani. Like chicken and beef biryani - Rs100/- means kuska with 2-3 small chicken pieces Rs150/- means good quantity of pieces with sufficient biriyani rice. Now it is money minded. But taste will be ultimate.
It's a self service hotel.. Always crowd.. The pieces contains so much cholestrol parts in mutton briyani.. Chicken briyani is a reasonable price of Rs 100.. In mutton briyani I got small pieces of chicken meat.. So i dont know surely whether they are making both briyani separately are doing plain dum briyani and mixed with mutton Or chicken.. But chicken 65 is nice in this hotel.. Overall.. It is useful for people who don't bother about neatness, perfection, time can try here..
Very tasty briyani. Very busy hours always. Briyani lovers must come here to enjoy their food experience. Prices are normal. Quality is higher.
Self service hotel. I tasted #ChickenBriyani really amazing taste but I felt more oily. chicken briyani comes with single piece chicken, onion thalicha and brinjal gravy with INR100. I felt worth for the money. Most disappointment was no one following #covid19 precaution measures. So I will not prefer for the family especially for children. But for them good choice is parcel again the shop providing separate window for parcel service. No official parking place so on road parking. Think twice before bringing your car.
