Iyer Mess, situated at the West crossroad of Malleswaram on 8th cross, directly across from Vasavi Vaidika Bhavan, offers a delightful taste of homely South Indian Mess food. This establishment holds a long history in Malleshwaram, and I've cherished memories of dining here since my childhood. Today, I decided to begin my weekend by ordering lunch from this venerable Mess. The lunch I ordered was simple and perfectly suited for a single person's consumption. The food here is characterized by its mild spiciness, reminiscent of a comforting homemade meal. While the curry provided for Chapati didn't quite meet expectations, the other items on the menu were decent and enjoyable. The lunch included Pickle, two types of sabzi, Masala Vada, Papad, Rice, Sambhar, Rasam, and Curd, offering a balanced and satisfying meal.

The price of the lunch meals is 80 per person. For that price the food quality the quantity of the food and the speed of service they provide here is awesome. The food here is excessively simple it does not have a lot of variety if you are going to other small vegetarian restaurants like Darshini's you will find more options in a single plate of veg meals then you will find here. But the taste and the quality of the food is not matched by other small veg restaurant. This place will be crowded and the services are fast and simple so please go there do not expect great ambience but enjoy the food

It's nested in a tiny lane. I really appreciated the service, the quality of food for Rs80/- No additives or soda added to the rice. The rasam did lack flavour. Sambar was amazing. Kind and mindful service. If I am around Malleshwaram and crave for something homely and cosy meal, I will surely return.

Very very excellent food and service. The servers are so fast and perfect. Very tasty food. Must try hotel in Bangalore. Still they can expand the hotel size to cover large number of people. We need to wait in queue to eat here. As they leave inside as per token number.

The food was awesome.The food does not contain garlic and onion. It is a Brahmin mess which offers pure veg meals. The meals are awesome and some of the best pure veg meals. The service was average. The atmosphere is also average. I have ordered meals 80 rupees with extra rice 40 rupees and one extra papad 10 rupees. The total meal costed me 130 rupees.

Finally had lunch here. for the homely food they serve. The food is not spicy at all, it's tasty. The chapathi they serve is very tasty. The Rasam is epic as it tastes like home. The lunch is priced at 80Rs. Service is quick and efficient. If you like to eat some homely Iyer food this is the place. Happy meals. Do like the review.

The food is fine, but the place is overrated I feel. It was a bad experience for me as it was too crowded when I went. And i had to wait for at least an hour after I received my token to eat my food. The services were fine but too quick and limited. Even before I completed my meal, there was the next set of people waiting for me to get up, standing right behind me, so that they could occupy the place once I vacated. I didn't like that feeling, I felt like I was being rushed. There was too much chaos as well that day, so again... I'll call it a bad experience for me. Hope this helps, Thank you.

Been here few times for Lunch. Price is reasonable and homely food. Taste is good enough for that price. Location is easily reachable. Service is good and responsive. Overall a decent place to eat.
