After seeing many reviews here after all liking puliyogere me too ate puliyogere here. Yes taste was good. They serve it with curd good combination. When I visited restaurant was almost near to empty only. Self service here.Rs100/- for one plate puliyogere, thats very expensive.
Tried Idli Sambar and it was awesome, Chutney was also great. Both Chutney and Sambar were very unique in taste, I can't compare them to anything I have tried so far. Will have to go back and try other items on their menu. Looks like they were at a different location nearby and moved here or they have both locations in operation.
Traditional Iyengar recipe,, home made types . Idli was steamed using white kora Cloth, i had more sambar, since it was mild, Crispy Vada.. n Puliyogere was typical temple style nice quantity n quality... Reasonable pricing... Tasty and home made food. I enjoyed Kara Pongal, bisibellabath, and bread pulav. Gulab jamoon classy. It's a quick bite kind of eatery, the food taste is the highlight.
Good homly food. Worth every penny. No place to sit. Must try is their sweet pongal and puliyogre which is made in typical iyengar style. It's definitely one of the gems in Bangalore.
Iyengars inn, I went for lunch here. Superb in taste pure vegetarian lunch n sweets available. I tested puliyogare, veg pulav and Chapathi here. Nice in taste but having less quantity. All plates like rice bath, mix bath, puliyogare, veg pulav, curd rice are available in 50 rs for half n 90 rs for full plate. Seating arrangement and basin for handwash is available. Taking care of cleanliness. You can eat by seating and standing.
