Ivorycoast'e - Bed & breakfast in Thottada - Kannur, India

We were from the 1st october for 2 nights after driving in from Periyar. Bipin was a wonderful host and the food he served was really amazing. The 4 star rating for the room was because we felt the wardrobe area with wash basin could have been curtained off from the main room. The place was peaceful with many birds visiting the area in the morning and the beach was just a short walk. The reason for a 4 star on location is unless one is mobile your are completely cut off from the village and have to depend on Bipin to make arrangements for an Auto or taxi which he does do if required. Overall an amazing stay with a great host and the food he served was just fab. I would definitely recommend this place Thank you Bipin

Excellent value for money. The guest house is simple and comfortable, very quiet, and literally 1 minute away from a stunning beach. You can hear the waves from your bed, isn't that fantastic? The food provided is fresh and delicious, and the service very good and responsive. I appreciated that they had many books available for guests to browse through during their stay. if you're staying in Kannur and are looking for some quiet, this is the place.

We stayed here for 2 days and the hospitality and food was so good, would highly recommend for someone who is looking for a calm and peaceful stay. Mr. Bipin is so humble and kind and a he took care of us very well.

We had a truly wonderful stay here. Personally it was my favorite in whole Kerala - even in India. The host Bipin is so kind and his hospitality was outstanding. A true gentleman and an extraordinary chef - the meals were super delicious. The room was spacious and very clean. The matresses were very comfortable. The beach is just 1 minute away. It's a peaceful paradise - only few people are there - you can relax and swimming conditions are great. Highly recommended.

5 minutes from a clean and relaxed beach, with a host that makes great meals and arranges trips to town ect. For you.

Had such an excellent stay with Bipin, I highly recommended a trip here. We came a bit later in the season but still had such a great stay enjoying the local quiet beaches. The trip was made very special by the host, who in particular makes incredible local food (he really goes above and beyond). Really grateful to have had this experience

Bipin the host make the stay very pleasant. A very kind man where nothing is a bother for him. He arrange everything you ask for with a smile. Bipin also cook very nice food (different every meal) . As for the location, there is nothing around (resturants/shops) other than few beautiful/deserted beaches and coconut groves, which makes it a very quiet stay. However if you after some snacks/fruit etc. the near village/town Thothada is 25-30 mins walk or 10 mins by push bike ride (available free). Rooms are simple but big and clean Would love stay again if in Kannur.

Most beautiful property I have ever lived in! It was very comfortable, peaceful and clean. You can listen to the waves when you open the door of your room. The host, Bipin, is very very kind and sweet. He treats you like family and makes you feel home. He helped me plan my itinerary. My Kannur trip wouldn't be that amazing without Bipin's help and Ivorycoast'e!!! Must try!
