Itsy By Treebo - Shillong Tower Guesthouse - Guest house in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

I had a decent stay here for 2 nights, since I travelled solo and I just stayed at night to relax, I didn't had any issues, the location is a bit away from the main road which is actually good but it's in the middle of the residential area so you would experience noises all day long, however it gets silent by the evening and you get a pretty view from the rooftop. The rooms are average with all the basic amenities but the bed didn't have a head support which is a bit weird. The staff is friendly, cooperative and polite to listen all your requests. The food is delicious and quantity is more than enough. Recommended as a budget friendly option.

We stayed here for 4 nights which was not planned however our stay was very pleasant. George our host was excellent in taking care of all our needs even the staff was very prompt and co operative. Food was delicious and the quality n quantity is good.

The place is situated in quiet Residencial area. Difficult to access without any vehicle. Other than the location, the rooms of the guesthouse were small in size and due to recent paint in rooms the smell caused as to leave a day before our booking. The service was good as people at the guesthouse made us comfortable. The facilities at the guesthouse is good and one can expect beautiful stay. The fare of the rooms in shillong is on the higher side. Like the fare if this guesthouse is comparable to mid range rooms at other hill stations. Cab options are available but one needs to inform the staff beforehand.

The property was nice. The staff was helpful. The food was amazingly tasty with good price. The restaurant is on the terrace from where you can see the shillong peak. There was no disturbance. It is peaceful place.

The room was good except for the fact that the bathroom window is broken and the pipes are leaking and the bathroom cannot be locked, The small windows above the door cannot be closed and the blanket is super weird, my gf woke me up in the middle of the night to fix the blanket, super annoying when you are staying in a place which is very cold. The staff were excellent, one of the best so far, very kind and helpful. The food was also great and the rooms were also clean.

Was good despite I choose the smallest room. Real shower very enjoyable. Rooftop for breakfast is a blast. The manager is very professional. But dont leave too early. I stood up a 6 and the facilities were not ready. Anyway worth the money.

Rooms are average. If you're vegetarian u have to pay for breakfast. Even though they say it's complimentary. For 15 minutes extra reception guy was asking 500 rs when I asked for receipt. He denied not couple friendly rooms.

The guesthouse is ok to stay. Room are little bit small in size. Room had no AC it has only one wall mount fan. Carry a extention cord if you have two or more than 2 charging devices. Bathroom is big in size and in good condition. Food is tasty and delicious. One can get taste of local khasi dishes. One thing i kind of like was the chef call us and explain the dishes which we ordered. They offer us free lunch as we were their first customer of the season. Breakfast is complementary. They offer breakfast at roof top morning scene and ambience will make u fill calm and composed. The guesthouse is near 2 km away from main market it will cost u around rs 150 to 200 if you hire car from (police bazaar) main market. Staff were well behaved and generous. After checkout We actually left our id card at the desk and came 3-4 km away from the location, but the guesthouse manager arrange some guy who delivered the id cards to us. They were very helpful to us. So if you looking for a place away from rush of the city and will give you a calm feeling go for it.
