Itsy By Treebo - Regalia Grand - Hotel in Madikeri - Kodagu, India

This is the class less hotel i have ever booked. Below are the issues - 1. Arrogant and uneducated people at reception 2. Small and congested parking 3. No kettle 4.Bathroom is horrible. You will always get extremely bad smell the moment you open bathroom door 5. No restaurants within hotel. Not at all suitable for people coming with baby or small kids who needs milk or simple food. 6. Rs 10 kind of door mat 7. Hard water kept for drinking 8. Floor is horrible, it was slippery 9. Smelly and dirty bedsheets and blanket. Two pillows provided which were very thin. Sir ji, normal hotel also put 4 pillows on the double bed. 10. I got food from outside- plate that was provided was very bad and dirty 11. Best point - I paid 9800+ Rs for 2 days booking but the actual cost was 1800 Rs per day. 12. My experience was that bad - that i left the hotel same day of checkin at 3 am in the night, as there were bed bugs too. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILY AND SPECIALLY PEOPLE TRAVELLING WITH BABY OR INFANTS.

The stay was very comfortable. The room was spacious enough. It was clean and tidy. The washroom was provided with all the essentials. The tv was working. The electric kettle also helped. Git water was available. They provided free breakfast and it was good. The staff were good and helpful. The hotel is also at a prime location, very close to the bus stop and local market. Overall it was a good stay.

Worth stay!! I had a great experience in the Regalia Grand Hotel. The location was so beautiful and also reachable. The plus point is that it placed just the walk-in distance from the Fort.

Well maintained hotel, clean room and washroom. Breakfast also good but not the best.

Great experience, one of the main reason for this is they have spacious rooms at affordable price. This makes is neglect other aspects especially if you want to spend less on accomodation and more on exploring and visiting the sites. It is situated at a prime location, Raja's seat, Abbey Falls, etc. Are all nearby. The staff behaviour and friendliness is added benefit. They just let you enjoy the way you want. Without putting you in a lot of restrictions like hours to get back to hotel. It's open 24 hours. Recommended!

Good place to stay.., we have a free breakfast but make sure to be on time if not u will miss it..

Located on City center Very affordable price and good service Breakfast is good. Overall I'll give 5 stars.

Had a very bad experience with this hotel. No lift, No variety in food, bathroom was in bad condition. They charged 5000 per night for Room. Rooms- were in bad condition, no cleanliness, bedsheets were torn, used blankets were given. Food- Food was very average and no variety and very limited quantity. We stayed for 2 days. 1st day they served idly sambhar, chutney and rice Coeffee n tea. That too rice was over and they shamelessly told its over.2nd day dosa, sambhar, chutney n kesari bhat. Some food items was over before 30 mins. Bathroom- bathroom was very smelly n floor was slippery. Flush was broken and there was no mirror in bathroom. No lift- we have elderly ppl with us and there was no lift. Please my sincere request don't book this hotel if you want peaceful and enjoyable vacation. .
