ITL Residency - Hotel in Palakkad - Palakkad, India

I made a online booking for 3 hour AC room. Order was confirmed. When I reach the place the staff told i need to pay extra 1000 for AC room. The temparature was extreme in palakkad during summer. So I couldn't adjust and decided to stay inside car for 3 hours. Experience from the staff was really bad

Worst residency. Full of cockroach and insects and mosquitos. Stay with tension. Money waste.

Not satisfactory, Even Drinking water not provided. Linen and towel were not neat, very old . The shower not working, no hot water. bad smell also in the room. I booked nonac room and taken ac room with additional Rs.500 paid. Actually I taken room because high rating showing. No restaurant, i asked one tea, reception person told, outside one small tea shop there, please go and have tea. So totally dissatisfied, this is an old hotel, not maintained properly. There is old model tv, currently, even small lodge also provides led/ Lcd tv. So my opinion, i not recommended this hotel.

This place was booked online for 48 hours. It was a good deal. A decent lodging facility whose entrance is facing the railway tracks. You get AC and non-AC rooms here. Our room had a fan along with the AC. Hot water was available in the morning for bathing. I'm not sure of the room service as we didn't order anything. One less star 'cos the place could've been cleaner than it was, but it was a good value for money.

booked two a/c rooms but the person in the reception gave two keys saying both are a/c rooms... but when we checked-in, In one room ,AC was working but temperature of the air conditioned can not be changed and the other one was show piece air conditioned room (AC not switching on). even the toilets were not clean....more over lot of small bugs can be seen on the bed. not able to sleep for some time. very worst hotel.

It was 12:30 at night when I got here. I was given an ID proof card, the room boy came in, opened the room, turned on the light fan, gave me hot water in the jug, the room was clean, there was a small balcony, there was hot water for the bath, there was shampoo, soap and oil in the washroom, and in the morning reception. If you call and order tea, tea will be delivered. The staff here are well behaved and copule friendly.

This hotel is a normal budget hotel. Bedding were fine. Service was okay. But only issue with this hotel is that it is right next to a railway track, so everytime a train passes by, you'll not able to here your own voice if you get a railway track facing room.
