I recently visited 'Idhu Namma Veedu' restaurant. The ambiance of the place is pleasing, as it's an old home converted into a restaurant. The service provided was good.
However, I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food. I've known this restaurant for the past three years, and the food used to be very good. Unfortunately, now the quantity are much smaller, and the quality has become very bad. It seems like they might be using older meat, which greatly affected the overall taste. This was a completely disappointing experience. Regrettably, I won't be recommending it to anyone, and I personally won't be going again.
We were on a drive from Dhanushkodi to Thenkasi. Had to stop at Kovilpatti for food. So we opted this place for lunch.Nice and super ambience. An old tradition home converted to a restaurant. Food is average. But the service is superb. Staff is very helping and cooperative.
Ambiance looks good and tidy . Service is appreciable, and the atmosphere which gives us a peaceful and relaxed mind. The next is food , food is very tasty especially naan and cauliflower gravy which tempts us to eat more and more. Both veg and non-veg food is very tasty. Must try .
