Itafort Western Gate - Monument in Itanagar - Papum Pare, India

It was a weekend when we decided to walk from Vivek Vihar to Ita Fort to see it. On the way there, we were able to see this place right from the streets. It seemed like it was part of the elaborative structure a long time ago. But unfortunately when we reached the gates of the Ita Fort we heard that it had been closed for the past three or four months and the locals whom we asked about it aren't sure when it's going to open. That's when we decided to go to Gompa Monastery which wasn't that far from there. It was a good experience which had gone really well even though it was totally unplanned.

Need restoration.. Major upgradation...

I would suggest only if ua a nature lover coz u can watch the small scenary view or else ther iz nothing worth while to see at ita fort..the main view of ita fort is its made of red bricks during ancient tymdats ol...m uploadin ita southern gate,itanager..

The Ita Fort is an historical site in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Its name is "Fort of Bricks" in Assamese.

Its is a historical place. If you are at itanagar you need to visit this place.

Great place for family outing.. Also 1500mtrs from main road.

This is like a hill station in which you can see the range of hills and their peaks. This place is not exactly to explore but if you are a nature lover then must visit this place as you can get fresh air and peaceful environment here.

Nothing much to c s a fort but if u r a nature lover den u should visit coz it has beautiful scenery..... I love dis place... 1 Request to all d visitors please keep it clean,don't throw garbage here n there instead throw it in dustbin.
