Very nice relaxing experience. Food was exemplary. Neat and tidy, beautiful room, well maintained. Kid friendly. Not many places to visit around so a 1 night or 2 nights stay is enough. Romantic for young couples.
Very nice ambience, the staff are so grounded and their hospitality is outstanding. Guided tour of the house was very entertaining. Last but not the least their food quality is just awesome. Overall, a nice, cosy place to visit on weekends.
An excellent and royal stay in the magnificent palace of Itachuna! The rooms were large, clean and well decorated. We had booked Ginni ma and Boro maa rooms. The food served were really awesome, in traditional Bengali style. Both quality and quantity of food served were excellent. One can enjoy the Sandhya aarati in Thakur dalan, live flute performance in chaa Ghar during evening and morning tea breaks and also a guided tour inside the royal heritage palace. Overall one of the best weekend trip I have ever spent!!
Very beautiful place to stay but never book GINNI MA...it's bathroom is attached to a garbage room and foul smell come out. I asked management but they took no action before my check out. No room service provision even for elder or disable persons.
Itachuna Rajbari a heritage property situated near Khanyan station in Hooghly district. Staying in the rajbari will give you a royal feeling. We visited to the rajbari on 13.08.2023 on my husband's birthday. We stayed in Choto Pishi's room. The decor, the furniture, the corridor will take you to the classical times. The vibes, the vintage looks of the rajbari gave us the goosebumps. We were overwhelmed with the service of the staffs. The authentic bengali cuision served in the "kasar thala" Is something awesome. The quality and quantity of the food is also notable. In the evening they took us for a guided tour of the rajbari. The guide was entertaining. After the rajbari tour we went for "Sandhya Aroti". The music played by the village people on the time of the Arati attached me to the God closely. The " Bashir Sur" Was mind impressive. One need to prebook room before visiting the rajbari, and also need to make full payment of the room.
Last but not the least a perfect one day staycation with family, friends or partners is highly recommend
It was a great experience staying at this old, Zamindar house amidst 18th century decor and food. We booked a room prior going there as it was pretty heavily booked. The room rent consisted with complimentary breakfast and we also had our lunch and dinner over there. In the afternoon, we had a guided tour of the Palace and in the evening we enjoyed the Arati and Mui telebhaja with flute music. The entire experience was priceless.
Famous weekend outing place 2 hours drive from Kolkata. You will have to stay over night to get its authenticity.
Nice Place To Stay And To Take Food . If You Just Go To Visit The Watchman Will Call You Within 10 Minutes And Will Say You To Go Out . [ Do Not Go If You Have Not Booked It ] .
