For all the people who love to click pictures, we have hunted a perfect destination in Jaipur which will give you the bird view of the skyline of the city. Built in the 1740s by Jai Singh II's son and successor Iswari, the 'Iswari Minar Swarga Sal minaret' located behind the Tripolia Bazaar is a beacon in the old city of Jaipur. The minaret can be easily spotted even in the hustle and bustle of the Old City as it is surrounded by Jaipur's most famous and beautiful attraction, The views from the top of the minaret are magnificent. Within a 360 degree view, in the foreground, one can see the Hawa Mahal and the City Palace in all their glory, while off in the distance is the formidable Nahargarh Fort, standing steadfast and strong. You can spiral to the top of the minaret for excellent views over the old city. Unmatchable Architecture: Extraordinary architecture, innovative layouts, and well-thought execution make the place a highly coveted point of tourist interest. The walk to the top of the minaret is rather easy as the steps are cut into a gently increasing slope and the views from the top are worth clambering up. The walls painted in white, give a sense of space in the Minar and the small windows carved at intervals along the spiral staircase provide much-needed light and fresh air. Perfect Weekend Spot: Iswari Minar Swarga Sal minaret is a quick and easy sightseeing stop in the old city, especially in the upcoming rainy season. One can always count on enjoying a good sunset atop with pigeons, mainas and all sorts of birds flocking at a height in the minaret and the view of the lanes and bylanes is distinct from here. Iswari Minar Swarga sal, Jaipur is not just the place for sightseeing, but it also enables you to steal a self-indulgent moment for yourself as well. So, check out this spot on weekends for a rejuvenating time.
Good view! There is a deduction because no digital student ID cards are accepted. Some universities offer their IDs exclusively digitally. (And because foreigners have to pay over ten times as much as Indians.)
Very interesting and less touristy. If you have the heart and legs to climb up this swirling tower, you should visit this place. This will give you a good view of the city.
This place has worked like an amazing landmark for many of us who visited here for the first time. This is a magnificent historic artifact and i have lots of memories attached to it!!
They say it is a great view from there over Jaipur. Unfortunately it closes at 17, so you will have to hurry. In case you miss it - from above the opposite compound you still can have some good shots at the Amer fort in the far. There are many shops and the people will be keen to sell you anything from jewels to clothes and art there, but I it is safe to mix there - so no worry
Sargasuli Tower is known as Tower of Heaven. It was built in 1749 by King Ishwari Singh after his victory over Raja Madho Singh. This tower has been constructed following the rules of Vaastushaastra. It also severed as a watch tower for the palace. The Sargasuli Tower is the tallest historical building in Jaipur. It has seven story and every floor of Sargasuli has a door which opens up towards a balcony. This tower provides visitors with the breath taking 360 degrees panoramic view of Jaipur City.
