Have been to this outlet atleast once in a week. Overall experience is satisfactory so far. Have tried different varieties of beef and chicken shawarma. Mostly I visit here around 8 30 pm and this is the time when most of the items goes out of stock. One such day i tried Zinger wrap which tasted good but cant beat the normal shawarma. Not too much crowded all the time. Closes around 9 30 i believe. The only drawback i think is they doesn't have sitting space or even a standing table. But still worth trying!
Bought 2 rolls and a chicken plate shawarma. The quantity for the plate was abysmally low and just covered 3/4 of the plate and that too filled with more veggies than chicken. I have tried shawarmas from various places but this is one of the worst experiences. Taste wise its just a 2/5( chicken was dry and was the contents in it felt kinda bland.) The roll was pretty ok but was not juicy. Would prefer Turkish Delight any day over this.
Worst packaging. Stupid food. I ordered an Istaanbul platter through swiggy which caused rs 238. They kept the chicken and beef in the same parcel tray mixed with veggies and the French fries. At least they could have provided a different packaging for the fries Tasked yuk. Not at all recommend at least for the platter.
Istanbul grills is one of the best Shwarma I had, they serve Chicken, Beef and Mixed rolls with some special Platter options and Falafels. Both the food truck and Counter at Kumarapuram-Murinjapalam road serves equally good food. Fresh, hot, super fast and Scrumptious.
One of the Best Shawarma. Should taste their all shawarma varieties. I personally suggest cheese Shawarma ( If you are a cheese lover go for extra Cheese).
After the roaring success of their food truck at Kuravankonam, the folks behind Istanbul rolls and grills opened up their new outlet recently. Had a chance to visit them yesterday as I couldn't manage to visit their food truck earlier. If you have been to Technopark Phase I at any point via the main gate, you would have noticed an outlet called Arabeiq Paradise next to Subway. This joint is run by the same team behind Arabeiq Paradise so I can vouch for their quality and impeccable service. They have a wide variety of rolls and grills. Most of them are inspired by the offerings of Istanbul street food. You can opt for Saj Bread or doner bread on the rolls and platters. And if you are feeling truly hungry, you can also got for a combined chicken/beef combo in one roll or platter. Options are put up in the menu photo. I was recommended the Kufka Chicken/beef rolls and the Grilled Beef kofta platter. The order was packed and ready within 10mins. So hats off to the speedy service. The Kufka rolls were a revelation in itself. Have had quite a few rolls from many a place, but this one sits above all. The Real King!! Nicely toasted Saj bread filled to the brim with chicken/beef, French fries and very little to none of the green veggies , this is a true carnivore's delight. Pair it with a bottle of Coca Cola or Pepsi for the real street food feeling. But, the star of the show for me was truly the Grilled Beef Kofta platter. I am a huge fan of authentic Arabic and Middle Eastern food since my erstwhile NRI days. Taking a bite of the thin Khubooz with some French fries and the softest Kofta brought back sweet memories of sitting in an Arabic cafe and munching on their signature Koftas while listening to 90s Arabic hits on the radio. No words to express how much I loved that dish. And note, the dish is quite heavy with about 5-6 pieces of medium sized Beef kofta topped of with 8 pieces of thin masala-fied Khuboos pieces and a salad, French fries, mayo and spicy sauce. So if you are an average eater, just pick one platter up and it will be sufficient for 2 people. In a nutshell, drive on down to the joint, order your favorite rolls/platter, sit in your car or come home, get a soft drink of your choice, put on some Middle Eastern hits from the 90s and enjoy your food...It's a win-win combination. Guaranteed!
Tasty and pocket friendly. No longer waiting and parking issues. I bought shawarma and a burger. Both are good
There are hundreds of Shawarma and roll option in Trivandrum. What makes Istanbul unique and worth going back again and again is the 'Food Safety'. I have been having having their rolls and shawarma ever since they started the food cart in kowdiar road. Never ever had a bad experience and the excellent food experience continues. Thank you.

Lovely place and people. Learn the art of eating Maldivian food from the one and only Meenamma herself. The meals, the fish. Everything was just delicious.
