I stayed there for 2 nights and the rooms were so clean and comfortable, the whole building has appropriate cctv. The owner was very polite and cooperative. The location was also good we need just 5 minutes to reach the nearest Assi Ghat.

Recently I have been to Varanasi with my family and I chose to stay at "Ishan Paying Guest House" after seeing their online customer reviews. Being a cynic, I always take online reviews with a pinch of salt, but trust me people - I got much more than what I expected. The room was well furnished and clean, have kitchen facility - you can cook your own food. The place is located in a calm and decent area, 3-4 minutes walk from Assi ghat. The owner of the guest house, Mishra ji has been more than helpful and supportive. He arranged local sightseeing and evening boat ride for us at a nominal cost and also suggested good meals for lunch and dinner from local eateries. He made sure we had a nice stay in every possible way. In a new tourist spot, where you are unfamiliar to almost everything, getting such a help is priceless. The homely environment and the hospitality we experienced made us feel like his true guests, not just customers! If you are looking for a decent family-friendly place in Varanasi at a reasonable price, look no further - Choose them! You would certainly love the stay.
