IRCTC FOOD TRACK (FOOD PLAZA) - Fast food restaurant in Siliguri - Jalpaiguri, India

It is a great initiative by IRCTC to open a food court in the busy New Jalpaiguri station. There is huge variety of food from north Indian to South Indian dishes. Vegetarian people also have lots of food options available here. The food amount and taste is average and price of food is also reasonable.

Had some mix veg curry with 3 rotis. Good quality of rotis. Mix veg was above average too. Quantity is sufficient. Ample seating space available though you might find it too busy during rush hours. Washbasins and toilet available. Cleanliness is maintained.

Undoubtedly the best place to have your lunch before leaving Siliguri. The food quality and quantity both are pretty good and the price is decent as well. It's surely better than restaurants around the New Jalpaiguri Station area. Also, as this is inside Platform No. 1 of NJP Station, you will be able to hear the train announcements made time to time. You won't get coffee here though. It is available at the small shop just outside. You can buy coffee from that shop and have that by sitting here. The food was really good and the quantity was good enough. You can have only rice as well as both rice and two rotis. Pay first and self service.

This is an IRCTC operated restaurant inside the NJP railway station. If you are looking for an affordable and decent quality meal, then you can check out this place. All sorts of Indian & Chinese cuisine are available here. The service is fast and the food is served fresh. Also, there is sufficient space to sit. Recommended.

Located on platform 1. Good quality food options available for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Prices are genuine. Service is little sloppy but still good.

If you're in hurry, and no other options in your pocket then you can avail the place. The location is beautiful, although they can improve their cooking skills much better. I had a plate of idli. It was alright. Plain and bit with the absence of tang.

Don't even think of Trying The Chicken Bharta. Full of spice after eating the morning was very difficult for me as the burning sensation was very bad. You can go for the mixed noodles that are quite tasty.. You can fell ill if you try their bharta.

Quick service, food taste is average. Quantity is good compared to the cheap price point. They offer a variety of items in the menu but beware, snacks items are not available in the evening hrs. We were refused dosa at 7.30 pm citing that rice items and chowmin were available. They should use disposable cutlery instead of plastic reusable ones, otherwise its.good value for money.
