A lovely beach house nestled in the corner with the river flowing behind and sea in the front. Got to view the beautiful sunset. The owner is very pleasant to deal with and the caretaker does an amazing job of looking after the guests. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nothing like going in a small group and having the entire property to yourself. Its very simple but yet done up very tastefully. Looking fwd to another visit in the near future.

Fantastic place to relax with family and friends. Nestled away from crowd between sea and backwater with huge backyard. Spacious rooms with all the facilities and the owner and care taker are friendly. Lot of options for activities like boating, kayaking etc or simply laze around.

Had been last week with family and friends, it was an extraordinary place, serene, just opp to a private beach, literally no one except this beach house guests, our children had a lot of fun, in the beach and as well as within premises lot of place to hangout, this place is outstanding due to right on the backwaters and just meters away from the beach, we are already planning for next visit , thank you Naren sir for the warm welcome and professional attitude. And you can also enjoy water sports (guided swimming in the beach, kayaking in the sea as well as backwaters, they have their own kayaking gears). Just loved everything without any regret.

If I could give more than 5 stars!!! Fabulous beach home at blue flag beach at Padubidri, Karnataka. Nicely built and very spacious and clean and safe property. Overlooking the beach and well maintained home. This property has been built with a lot of love and warmth and the detailing in the structure is striking!! Covered with water bodies on both sides - you can hear the waves from your bed or while working ! Owner Naren was guiding at every step for all aspects with respect to our stay and was in constant touch for any information. Food made by Jayshree was good. Worth every penny for location and the peace and tranquility in that space!!

One of the best properties I've stayed at for a slow holiday. Although you cannot enter the beach water during monsoon, I'd still suggest planning your trip here during early monsoons because the weather is amazing and the location is perfect to unwind and relax. The care takers are very friendly and chatty and the food is delicious! They also have good quality kayaks which can be used in the backwaters.

Set in a beautifully serene location, Iraa Beach Guest House is a perfect place for a 'get- away- from - it -all' holiday. The guest house nestles among coconut palms, between the sea and the river. Here one can enjoy the cool breezes and at night be lulled to sleep by the soothing sound of the waves. A stay in this serene and calm place, relaxes and rejuvenates and fills one with new energy. Rameshanna and Kushalakka see to the comfort of the guests. They have kept not just the guest house, but the entire property clean and neat. We thoroughly relished the tasty local delicacies prepared and served hot by Kushalakka. We enjoyed our stay at Iraa Beach Guest House and would definitely love to have another holiday there.

I stayed at Iraa in early September 2023, and had one of the best travel experiences of my life! It was my first solo trip in my life and Iraa was so ideal in many ways, I discovered. It gave me the peace and tranquility I was seeking, yet it was comfortably in the middle of a local community, with nothing really too far away. I mean, what more can one ask for - a few steps away is the Padubidri beach, and a few steps back is the Kamini River! I had the best of both worlds. And in between is the beautiful Iraa with a peaceful verandah where you can sit endlessly in the daytime, listening to the waves and feeling the seabreeze on your face. The owner Mr Naren and his business partner Mr Yatish constantly checked in on me via phone to make sure I was safe and comfortable. Kushalakka the caretaker cooked great local fare from neer dosey to Mangalore buns, while her husband Mr Ramesh Karkera, a fisherman by profession and one who is super familiar with the sea, took me on an unforgettable boat ride down the river, to the delta where the sea meets the river, singing songs and telling stories of the people of the region, and of the flora around the river. The folks at Iraa put me in touch with a trusted auto driver Mr. Naveen who showed me around so many places nearby and was my trusted "sarathi" for my entire stay. I made two excursions to go to nearby places and did some good amount of discovery of the region. Mr Naren & Mr Yatish pointed out to several attractions, tourist spots, and several destinations that I could visit, and I was able to plan things around my interests, with their suggestions. So whether you visit with family, or go alone, Iraa can make beautiful holiday memories for you. The place grew on me. While the physical place itself is a beauty, it is the people who come together to make Iraa a home away from home. Thanks all of you at Iraa for this wonderful holiday.

A beautifully maintained beach house run by the owner, Naren. He was just a phone call away. Delicious meals were served by jayshree didi throughout our stay. Every little detail was taken care of and it was one of the best properties we have stayed in so far within India.
