Nic place to visit lovely and awsome . It's a tourist place . Too many old buildings are there that love to watch. Behind iqbal maiden there is moti masjid . That's is very awsome place . Too many children's come there for playing . In evening it looks very cool place.

If you love local history and heritage buildings , Iqbal Maidan is the ideal place to spend some time in . It is surrounded by buildings designed in various styles , most of them commissioned by the ruling Begums of Bhopal. A short walk from here leads to Gohar Mahal , a mansion built by the first Begum , which is being used now to hold exhibitions of handlooms and handicrafts .

A reasonable large open ground close to the Moti Masjid and the Shaukat Mahal in Bhopal. On enquiry from those who live close by, the area was earmarked as a maidan as long back as in 1819. Today it is mostly used for playing cricket and football by the local youth. In olden days it was used for revolutionary meetings. Today also occasionally religious and political functions are organised here.
