I remember, back in the day it used to be a great place which served delicious food at dirt cheap prices. But now the quality and taste of food has gone down and the prices have gone up. The only good thing about the meal was the chicken pahadi. The bheja fry wad decent too but the mutton curry and the biryani were disastrous!
A really good place for desi style nonveg food. We had Nihari and Dahi Gosht, which were just perfect. The Halwa cart outside the restaurant serves some of the most unique sweets such as Egg Halwa, Fresh Turmeric Halwa and Ginger Halwa. I not only tasted all of them but took more than half a kilo home.
Chicken use to be good here with lower price rates. I am giving two less stars for two most of unacceptable changes in its services. First on dining the waiter use to take order in I pad which was a total new experience and now they simply take it on notepad. Second part is that now chicken prices are seem to be bit high for similar quantities and other restaurants offer better in lesser price. Coming to food to eat recommendations and specialities : I just love chicken lollipop and its best to try and never stop thinking of it after a first bite. Murg mussalam and its gravy is amazing but there should be bit tenderness in chicken when u take a bite. All together very balanced eating experience for non veg food restautrant amongst this area.
Had craving for having non veg for quite a long time, but since I am currently staying in Ahmedabad only few places here near my place sell non veg. Tried this yummy Non veg Deluxe Thali which had my all time favourite butter chicken, Chicken chilli which is kind of dry baji, Chicken fried rice with sufficient enough pieces in it, papad, 3 rotis & my favourite part the desert which was of Malai Halwa. Though a bit priced on the higher level, I guess it was worth it with the quantity and dishes they provided and ofcourse the Malai Halwa was the best among all the dishes.
