Into The Unknown Hostel - Backpacker Hostel in Rishikesh - Tehri Garhwal, India

The staff are kind and welcoming, the rooms are clean and have comfortable beds. I was please to have the bathroom cleaned every morning which considering the kitchen has remained filthy since my arrival was a pleasant surprise. There is a social area with a fire pit which is nice but was in a car park so not overly nice to relax in. Overall I've been happy here and would consider returning.

As this is a hostel so definitely prices are affordable.. it's a pretty cool place with lot of graffiti art on the walls, nice ambience overall.. it has a cafeteria on the terrace with less food options but taste wise it's not bad at all.. one major drawback is no much ventilation in the rooms..

Staff told us there was a kitchen and breakfast, they didn't have either. Staff charged us more than everyone else and would not give us our money back. After showing us to our room they asked for a tip. The room was filthy with dishes from 2005 under the bed. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The staff made us wait for an hour before they could get someone to show us to our room. Pros: a/c worked, beds were comfortable Wouldn't recommend

Good for the price tag! *Pros: 1. The staff was courteous. 2. The lift service. 3. The view from the balcony. 4. Clean-purified water * Cons: 1. The bathroom was not cleaned properly during my 3 day stay. 2. The blanket was smelly and torn. 3. The bed had some feathers, of God knows what!

Apartment turned into hostel. Lovely common area. Stayed in 4 bed mixed dorm for just 300 bucks. Very affordable. Very near to the main road and easy to locate. They do not provide locks for the lockers in the room, you have to get your own. Has security camera in the premises otherwise.

A fine place to stay, each dorm has a dedicated comfortable bathroom with conventional toilet, not the Indian traditional one. There are lots of areas in the building to hang out and have a great time, hostel staff are literally Rock Stars, they play as a band on their own concerts when they don't work on the reception desk. There are lots of interesting customers to get acquainted with, and the rooftop cafe inspires to get in touch.

Excellent value for money, spacious room, ensuite was a little small so everything got soaked by the shower but it had toilet paper provided and this was replaced when it ran out, lots of sockets in the room (although the one by the bed was broken), a few ants around so keep food sealed away, fan was very efficacious and we were fine sleeping at night, next door's balcony gave them a good view through our bedroom window so we had to keep the curtain closed more often than we would have liked. We were happy to stay here, especially for the price, and were particularly pleased by the water, plug sockets and toilet paper situations.

The best stay in Rishikesh. You can get a bunk bed just for like less than 300 a day from the best deals through online and worth it. The service is fine and the people are well. You can go high on life,do some peaceful yoga and river rafting. It is also near the river. Good service,accommodation and food.
