InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Perur, Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

Hi, I always admire the cleanliness and how much you value your customers. Stay was super comfortable. This was our second time visit to the resort. Everything was perfect except we were disappointed in 2 things. Cost of dinner buffet and the items. Specially starters and deserts section could have been better. Second is the beach was closed due to weather conditions. There is nothing you could do but we were little disappointed as we had travelled all the way from Bangalore to play in the beach. On the whole , we are very happy with the stay and we would definitey love to visit again.

It was a wonderful experience staying at the intercontinental hotel. The reception desk was very helpful in catering with our needs. The room was clean and has a very good ambience. The housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff at the melting pot are very helpful and I appreciated them when they explained the food that we are not familiar with and made us try it. Overall, our stay at your hotel made our first time visit to India very memorable. It's all worth the experience that we intend to go back again someday.

From the traditional welcome to the exit from the hotel the staff were very courteous and helpful. They were reaching out on their own to make us comfortable. The property is on the beach and a beautiful one. It has three restaurants and caters to everyone's taste. Rooms are spacious and we'll kept. This property is the best place to be from all the hustle and bustle of city life.. You need to be there to experience it..!!!

We went to this resort to celebrate a special occasion, property is good - it has private beach access and inhouse restaurants. They gave us a room upgrade because of IHG diamond status, and were kind enough to provide lounge access to celebrate our occasion. We liked the property, initially we had some issues with the room but Mr.Souveek Chatterjee promptly attended to our issues and resolved it by providing us another room. Mr.Bharathi & Mr.Asif took constant feedback from us during the stay. Lounge service is really good - the person in-charge of lounge (forgot his name) attended to all our orders always with a smile. Breakfast spread is decent enough, overall we enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back again.

The property was calm and serene. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We had nice time spending in the property. The food ordered in room dining and Kokomo restaurant was awesome. Thanks for everything! 1. The only let down I could think of is, at very first order we were offered to pay less without the bill for food which I did not expect from a star hotel like this. Anyways we denied the offer and did not want to encourage such things. I have stayed in other renowned and IHG hotels earlier, but this was not the case anywhere. I personally don't want to mention the name. 2. It would be helpful if the basement parking stairs are maintained clean and well lit.

This a very good hotel with excellent service. We stayed here for vacation. The food at the restaurants were great. The breakfast buffet spread was very good and quality of food was also great. My wife hurt her back and the hotel went above and beyond in getting her a heat pack. The staff were proactively checking on us to make sure our stay was fine and if they could do anything else to serve us better. We will definitely come back! The beach is clean, nice and secluded. The swimming pool is very well maintained.

Great property, excellent location, good ambiance, very spacious layout with a clean beach; attentive staff and good service. The rooms were good. If I have to pick an issue, that would be the towels in the room. These looked somewhat old. A better and fresher set of towels would have made a difference. But for this rather small issue, everything was excellent, and we had a very enjoyable stay.

Visited 1st week of Sept 23 (Fri) for buffet dinner, Buffet Price: 2200 Rs Pro: 1. Big Property 2. Supportive Staff 3. Nice Food Cons: 1. Difficult to identity the property due to absence of large name board or sign 2. Little light in front of the property and inside as well. Just pathways are illuminated. Struggled to take selfies 3. Old Style Flooring, Broken tiles inside the restaurant 4. Less number of cuisines/items available in the buffet The positive is Staff they will be behind you to serve
