After six months of unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter with Star Health through various levels of escalation, we turned to the Ombudsman's office in the latter half of June 2023. Within approximately three months, the Ombudsman's expertise and dedication helped us reach a settlement with Star Health. The Ombudsman's office expertly served as the intermediary in this process and mediated on our behalf to find a successful resolution. Their team was extremely professional and dedicated. Without the intervention of Ombudsman, Star Health would never have upheld their insurance policy commitments. Now, we eagerly await reimbursement from Star Health. I highly recommend the Office of the Insurance Ombudsman to anyone in need of insurance-related assistance. They ensure that insurance companies like Star Health uphold their commitments and that justice prevails. Thank you once again for your invaluable help.

Saved by Superhero twice.... In both the cases, same villain - Star Health And Allied Insurance..... First time, surgery related to fixation of an implant, villain settled our reimbursement claim with a deduction of 34%...... That too without any explanation.... Tried a lot to clarify the same with the insurer, but no use.... at last, contacted our saviour....through his intervention, sorted out the claim with a minimum deduction of 8%, that too were inline with insurance terms and conditions..... Second time, for removal of the same implant, rejected 31% of the claim amount. This time we were well aware of the path to follow.... On initiating the complaint procedure, villain reconsidered the claim and reduced the deduction to 14%.... And finally through our hero, the same revised to 7%..... All these happened in a span of 10 months...Throughout the period, all the staffs were cooperative.... Provided step by step guidance.... They astonished us by answering each and every phone calls we made..... All together, Thanks for your timely intervention sir, which deliver citizens the courage to shout-out, at last justice will prevail.

I had a bad experience with a company called Universal sompo general insurance and they rejected my car insurance claim on frivolous grounds. At that time I approached the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman ruled in my favor within 4 months. I got back incurred expense along with interest . A big salute to Ombudsman and office staffs for their impeccable service
