Treatment is good but staff behaviour is awful in the psych ward. -2 stars for daily misbehaviour.

Worst place to pursue INTERNSHIP in clinical psychology. Their staff misguide people, nobody knows about how things work, this place is an absolute mess. On top of that they have the audacity charge 10k for 2 months of internship. I had to waste a whole semester because they kept on postponing the start date. They got only 1 supervisor for 10 or more students. Instead of wasting your time here, find a senior psychologist who can actually provide time, support and attention and do justice to the money you pay them.

Best place within West Bengal for assessment and counselling of specific Learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions. The outpatient department, clinical psychology and psychometry sections were really helpful. However there are separate departments with different specializations which are quite a bit distant. So if you are sent from one department to another department, it may be a little bit difficult to find the exact gates.

It's and old but reputed hospital in it's kind. Doctors are good. It's crowded but treatment is good. One of my known got 90% recovery ( depression) from here. Thanx to Doctors here.

The psychiatrists, I mean the doctors,are not so caring, they're always in hurry...they don't listen to patient's problem properly.but buttt The psw department is the Best place here. Psychology social worker Ms. Torsa mam is the godsend for me... and probably she is the world's kindest "psychologist".

Horrible management, doctors give little to no time in understanding a case, these very same doctors wear a different mask when treating in private.. very disappointed by the service, should have a better team of management.. keeping aside hygiene problems and other problems
