Insight The Eye Care Clinic Dr. Ryan Costa - Medical clinic in Margao - South Goa, India

Professional & competent doctor and staff. My mother was operated here and everything was handled competently by the team. I have visited the clinic several times and also got appointment after months as there is long waiting list. The waiting period is long as doctor is good. Not possible to see all in single day. When the receptionist tries to explain the system, people shout at her and talk rudely. I have witnessed this many times as I have been to this clinic several times. I have witnessed the same in other clinics of dental and ent specialist. If doctor is good you have to be prepared to wait as all are waiting to be seen by him.

The BEST Doctor in town indeed BUT with the WORST STAFF who are GIVEN the WHOLE RIGHTS to ACCESS which PATIENT ACTUALLY HAS AN EMERGENCY To Which they have ABSOLUTELY NO Knowledge about. I Went there Today with an EMERGENCY, which is not Categorised as AN EMERGENCY BY THE STAFF (As they only Think that Patients COMING WITH AN RED EYE are Considered Emergency Patients) Rest are all LIARS that have visited there for Fun. I Wish Dr. RYAN COSTA Hopefully go through this Review & TAKE the Necessary Actions I wish the Doctor & Staff were More Like each other than POLAR OPPOSITES!!

Having heard alot about Dr. Ryan I went to check for an appointment for my mother in law. Thanks to the receptionist I never got one. First day she told me appointments are full till November if you want walk-in we give tokens at 12.45. I visited the clinic exactly after 3 days to my surprise I was informed doctor is on vacation. Doesn't doctor have a schedule or he just plans things last minute I wonder as the receptionist didn't mention about doctors leave. I was told to come on 16 so I reached clinic at 12 just to make sure I am well before time but was told the walkin appointment for the day are full. I left and went back the next day this time at 10.20am just to know walkin appointments are full so I asked the girl what time should I come to get the token and her reply was I don't know and she got back to her work. Doctor if you are reading this review I would really request you to make a proper system for patients visiting you. Imagine an aged person going through this process of yours!!! Being a doctor's clinic you should have helpful staff not such rude and unapproachable staff. They need to know proper ethics to be followed and provide correct information. There are plenty of good doctors but there's always a reason why people prefer a certain doctor. I am sure you understand this.

No idea how the Dr is, as we couldn't get an appointment. When I called up the reception I was told that the appointments are full for the next 4 months. I was told to come on waiting numbers. On 3 consecutive days I went at the time they told me. But the staff gave some reasons and didn't take us in. In the end I told the receptionist to be clear with her information. She was very very rude. Similarly others questioned her and I heard her shouting at the patients. Very bad experience at the clinic.

Dr.Ryan needs to give patients more time n make them understand their situation and not just hurry with patients..I wonder if he really has good diagnostic skills ? I don't think he does...may be he is only good in minor cataract surgeries...there are much better Ophthalmologist in and around Margao other then him..

Wish I could give minus 10.Dr. Ryan provides his service in Sanvordem as well once a week . I happened to visit him last year and the way he treated me I can never forget. They take advance payment as I am pretty sure they fear customer wont pay after this type of ill treatment . He tests your eye in 1 min . his accounts work as 1min /person =Rs. 300 Plus. I have been testing my eyes every year and I know what an eye test is .He lacks people skills and speaks very rudely to people as if he is doing some charity work driving them away in secs. l have just learnt that he treated my mother worse a couple of days ago, she had gone for a test asked her to read something and she was adjusting the paper and this arrogant man just pulled the paper aggressively and hold her hand tightly to an angle she wasn't comfortable reading and send her way as if driving away animals and blabbering words. He wasn't like this a decade ago definitely he needs help and kindly don't send kids or elderly people alone to this practitioner as he will not check your eyes properly for sure also might but emotional damage to you and your loved once.

The Worst Receptionist ever. Doesn't know how to smile and greet the patients at all. Doesn't even provide proper information. And instead the receptionist says that we do not understand whereas she herself Doesn't give correct info. The doctor is really good but the staff-especially the receptionist who was at the desk today morning needs to learn to talk to the patients respectfully.

Dr. Ryan Dcosta is one of the best opthologist in margao but the staff is horrible specially the one sitting at the reception. She will treat the patient like flies.....never answers the phone or call back if she's busy. I have an appointment tomorrow at 5.00 pm taken 6 month back but no one to confirm. They are very rude Twice I was sent back as i didn't make within first 10 as my number was 11
