INDUS PARKLANE - 3 STAR HOTEL IN DARJEELING - Hotel in Darjeeling - Darjeeling, India

The valley view from the balcony is worth a million bucks! Exactly the same as shown in website. One can watch beautiful sunrise and sunsets from there. The staff are very polite, helpful and cordial. They will help you with anything even if you give them a call at 3am in the morning. We had booked 2 city tours with their travel desk and all the arrangements were done seamlessly. The only cons are, it's an old property with some signs of wear and tear which needs renovation. Otherwise it's a great value for money hotel if you are looking for a comfortable stay in Darjeeling.

Pros: Rooms are comfortable. They have good view. Food is good. Staff if very accommodating and will help with requests. Cons: Only 1 bath towel per room even if it is 2 or 3 sharing. Overall slow service. May need to remind them 2-3 times. Tips: Pre order lunch or dinner and tell them the time. It will be ready to eat when you reach.

My comfort valley view room price around Rs 2500 was not good. The entry door is broken from the inside.The bathroom walls are damped, and the bathroom door lock is pathetic. One has to struggle to lock and unlock the bathroom door lock. TV was there with remote and set top box with remote were available, however after switching on the TV it says to recharge. The staff behavior is very good. If we neglect the above conditions, it's an average stay.I am having videos to share with you but there is no option to share.

I Don't want to give any star, if there is any option to give negative stars , then I will give them all the negative stars(Dislike) Definitely. They have Poor Rooms(Fully Damaged) and Worst Service both . I suggest everybody not to come here, They will charge you lots of money and will provide you world's worst services

The room which was given to us was different from the picture given during booking . There is no clear valley view from that room. Even though I have requested them to change room, they weren't entertained by my request.The wall of the toilet was horrible even though Geyser was there.There is no electricity Backup in that hotel. Everyday we had to suffer from Load Shedding and the horrible thing is that we had to use candles in the toilet as there was no sunlight for the whole day.The hotel location is near Darjeeling Station and far from Mall Road. It takes 15-20 minutes walking distance to Mall road and the bad thing is that there was heavy traffic in the road and the road was totally uprising.

View from the balcony is good ( valley and Kanchenjunga both). Staffs are polite. Food was good and served hot every time. Rooms are average, not so clean. Lots of wooden furniture in the room. Lots of Spot on the wall and furniture.Slippery bathroom. Railway station is near to the hotel. Mall is 10/12 min walking distance from hotel. Visited last week of October.

Indus Parklane is 3star hotel of Darjeeling. It's located in main market and close to the Toy train station. Mall road is at walkable distance. Rooms are small but clean. View from the balcony is awesome. Staffs are polite. Food quality was quite satisfying. One can choose this property for pleasant stay. Parking may be an issue. Value for money !!!

Yes. This place is good for its fantastic view of kanchenjunga from the balcony The manager Mr.Pranoy Roy was right there from the beginning to end of the trip. Food was neat and as we demanded quantity and quality suited best standards. The staff are very attentive and always at the help. Only reservations are with rooms, there is no proper electric plugs in all the rooms. Seems like old hotel remodified. Thanks for the GM Mr.Partha Mukherjee. Nice time!!
