Indriya Bird's Valley Resort & Spa, Munnar - Resort hotel in Kunchithanny, Munnar - Idukki, India

Food is ok . I don't like sweet. If u like sweet than u may like it. Service r not up to the mark. I asked them for omelette, they declined it, we don't have it. Even breakfast is not started on time,Otherwise location and property are very good.

A place with calm and quiet atmosphere. Lication is far from Munnar. Rooms are situated in top of the hill , so walking to the rooms from reception or restaurants are kind a hiking. They will provide vehicle to get to rooms if we needed. Staffs were friendly and good , food is hust average, felt like bit expensive when compared with other resorts. Rooms are clean an well maintained, bathrooms too neat and tidy. Good place for family and friends vacation.

The resort is located around 15 km away from the hustle and bustle from the main Munnar town and is spread across few acres of property in a jungle in a serene surrounding with lots of bird chirping sounds around you. We booked a 2 bedroom cottage with a living area as well which was perfect for a family of 4. The cottages are situated at multiple height levels so you need to climb a bit to reach there from the reception. The restaurant is very aesthetically designed and offers good variety of dishes. We mainly ordered north Indian dishes which were ok. Breakfast spread was also good and had good variety. The rooms were near and clean with all the basic amenities like soap, shower accessories etc, tea and coffee machines. House keeping service were satisfactory although there could be some improvement in their responsiveness. The bathroom didn't had segregated toilet and shower areas so they became wet and messy after taking shower and not usable for other person. Overal, a very good experience and I would definitely recommend this to all.

Room and Room service was very bad. Electric kettle was unclean.fridge was not working properly. Their adventure park is very nice.

Resort is at very good location , but the lack maintains is a big issue , seems like investors feels like resort is a once time invest , it need a to be maintain well to keep the customers.

I just loved the resort. it has everything... perfect view from balcony, swimming pool, bonfire and their service is really good. you will feel yourself in the lap of nature bcoz of the location. I went here with family and I liked it.

Resort is so beautifully set and had a nice view but lacks maintainance. Swimming pool was so clean and good enough. The service was poor. We had to wait till 11 o clock for the extra beds that were already paid which were meant for the kids. We contacted them several times for cleaning the balcony and rooftop and for the bed since 2 o clock which was the checkin time. Breakfast provided was also not upto the grade. The kettles provided were not clean.

It was a nice stay. Had a great time. The staff were very helpful especially Arun was extremely sweet. I highly recommend this place to spend some quality time with family and friends.
