Indo American Hospital - Hospital in Vaikom, Maravanthuruthu - Kottayam, India

I have a lot of gratitude to this place. I saw multiple reviews saying that the place was too crowded and the wait to meet the doctor was too long. However my experience was r much different but wasn't unpleasant. I took my mom for a checkup and Dr.Kurian was spot on with the diagnosis . We then had to get her MRI done which though took time but wasn't too time consuming. Meeting the doctor again with the report was fairly quick. During the entire process we had our breakfast and lunch from the canteen and it was decent. One thing which stood out for me was that the doctor didn't ask for any unnecessary medication or tests. It was a very convincing experience. Doctor took his time out to explain the case to us. BTW my mom had severe lower back pain which caused Sciatica. The tests are relatively economical and I felt the costs of medicine were decent as well. It wouldn't be very fancy as a hospital for the name it carried but I would highly recommend this to anyone suffering from spine and brain related ailments. Keep up the great work Team Indo America.

This hospital is a speciality only for Neuro and spine. Rooms are available for in patients and emergency cases are taking care. All doctors are very nice and taking care of the patients. Parking facilities are available inside the hospital compound and outside also. Hospital maintaining the canteen and food nice / cheap.

Indo American Hospital, is the one of the best hospital In Vaikom, Kottayam, Kerala, India. Positive side......... 1)Good infrastructure. 2)Good atmosphere. 3)Free Parking Area Available. 4)Very neat and Clean. 5)Eco friendly Surroundings 6)Staff Service is good. 7)Lots of Seats are arranged. 8) Washroom is neat one. 9) Doctors are good. Negative Side... 1) No Proper way of Booking 2) Majority of Time is wasted for consult A doctor. 3)Shortage of staffs. 4)Price of food in Canteen Is Expensive compared with local shop. 5) Need to be upgrade Technology.

This hospital is a speciality for Neuro and spine care. When we went there first time we had to wait for taking tests for long due to insufficient employees or they being late to reach. With the knd of infrastructure and facilities they could serve better. Luckily all the Doctors are good. Sorry to say first impression is (unfortunately) not good.If you come through the front side you won't feel like coming to a hospital, instead it look like a star hotel. The garden and landscape are so beautifully maintained and they have a park like space in the front where people can sit and relax. Kids will enjoy playing there.

Doctors out there must be good, but waiting time even after appointments is too heavy first time i went there at 8am and finished by2pm and most annoying was guard sitting in front of doctor room is not aware if dr is inside or not and they dont even inform patient about the delay , this time my patience ran out after more than two hours of waiting without any info and 10 people before me i decided to change the hospital.. you can go there if you have lot of patience and whole day to wait.

Sorry to say, it's a very bad experience frm this hospital. I visited with my father in law on 2015 he had surgery for brain. Really genuinely I'm saying not satisfied.Charging high amount, doing like for their monthly bussiness target, careless, staffs not coperative behave like we are doing favor paying them.Till now same even report's not sending through mail and by post.But for payment they are like dracula, sucking as much possible with poor's.Medical not only for bussiness its a bless to save life.

I had recently visited Indo American I had a good as well as bad experience from here. I had visited Dr. Krishnan , he is a brilliant man. I got bad experience from MRI Staff. Staff 's behaviour is very poor.

Absolute unprofessional behaviour from nursing staff. My motherinlaw fell in the bathroom even after a nurse supposedly held her fingers with much reluctance after demanding the nursing care since its being charged!! Service is pathetic! Will never recommend the hospital to anyone.
