Beautiful place. I went there to see the Chhath puja, and it was wonderful. Good arrangements by AMC and Gujarat Govt.
This is an excellent place, specially made to perform at Chhath Puja, which is a popular rituals, to pay respect to God of power,, energy & light " SUN GOD - Surya Bhagwan ". Since in this Puja, Neatness & Cleanness is very very important, we loved the place. Chief Minister visited the place, to attend the function, high security arrangement was there, river cleaning boat was in service.
Sort of clean roads over the bridge, but as soon as you look down on the smaller roads and the river bank, there is trash everywhere. It is a great opportunity for authorities to make this way more scenic, clean, and natural than what it is right now, and educating / sensitizing locals to be able to maintain it there after. #sustainability #greenliving #composting #swacchbharat
