Indira Gandhi Park - Park in Rourkela - Sundargarh, India

One of the biggest park in Rourkela with lots of activities inside for to do. There is boating available. There is also a small zoo inside with few animals, birds and reptiles to see. A small aquarium with different species of fishes. There is a toy train inside the park to see the whole park in it. Restroom is there but it needs maintenance. A canteen is inside for snacks and drinks.

good for family outings or picnics, used to be my fav place earlier because of the zoo (there are barely any animals present in the zoo lately), but now, only the toy train and the boating interests me

Per person entry fee rs10 and zoo train rs20 per person and good park and zoo

Large area. Few animals are there like deer peacock parrot monkey crocodile etc. Toy train is playing around one part of the park. Two rounds 20/-. Current the park pond is under service, boating facility is suspended. We can visit with family and spend time on weekends.

Good park in rourkela, also a good cafeteria inside the park. Some animals are there in the zoo, toy train for kids and lots of BATS
