Good place to visit at weekend. Nice place to sip a cup of tea while looking at the nature, and an engineering marvel. You would also find some locals fishing there, so can buy fishes from them too, or you can phish some out yourself.
I would like to warn the visitors that beware of the electric line passing outside the canal bridge. I saw a place where a naked wire is just a few mm away from the structure and that could cause the current leakage to the bridge I am adding the photo of it. It looks like there has been carelessness in tying the wire. It would be appreciated if respected department secures the hanging wire.
This place is to escape the rush of the city. Visit here when you want to enjoy greenery with flowing water. This place is for spending some quality time with family and friends. This place has small food stalls to satisfy your small hunger needs. Chai here is good and so is maggi. Go here and spend some time away from traffic and rush of Lucknow. Talk to your friends or family by sitting beside a flowing dam.

We had gone to this place on a bike ride. It is way out of the city but it was worth going. Many spectators go to watch the mesmerizing view and others to make reels for their social platform. To the end of it you can have some Maggie, momos and ice cream. The current in the water is really fast. I saw exactly 5 dead animals being floated off Including cows, buffaloes and dogs. It's definitely a one-time place.

If you are finding a place which is surrounded by nature. If you love animals and chirping of birds and want enjoy it in the morning or evening Then Indira canal (Indira dam) is best place for you to visit. I suggest, you have to go there by morning or evening.
Very calming place. Do visit. But keep your children away from the railing. As the railing height is very low. Best time to visit is in evening or in rainy days. The road to canal is also peaceful. No traffic and audience over there is also less
