Indien Hermitage - Resort hotel in Marungoor - Kanniyakumari, India

Our experience at this resort was very beautiful. Raju sir was very kind and the hospitality was great. Food was amazing and the vibe of the resort was relaxing.

This place is for people's who need a break from there daily work. It's location and the view from resort is tremendous if you are a nature lover and you want a break from your daily works this is the right place to enjoy. And also they have a very big pool which is maintained well and hygienic.

We stayed here for a couple of days. The rooms are very spacious and well lit. The bathroom is also very spacious. Coming from a rural space, we were looking for a quiet break away from our farm, away from the noise. Indien Hermitage offerred the perfect setting for the break. It is nestled perfectly under a hillock of the western ghats. So the sun rises late, in case you decide to wake up late. The nearest shop is a couple of kilometres away, which is a good thing. The property over all is well maintained. The hosts, Mr Raju and team are warm and welcoming. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean. Our only problem was the power cuts : they occurred 3-4 times a day. Because of lack of ventilation in the rooms, even a few minutes delay in switching to genset was waking our 1 year old daughter up during her naps. The breakfast spread was amazing.

I was very disappointed; the receptionist is too rude, and his response is not good. It seems like he is drunk and repeating his words. The pool is not clean, and the toilets are too dirty. I'm never going to visit again and will not recommend it to anyone. Edit: Look at his words again, the same way his respone was at the resort. He was literally on high. Please consult a good doctor and take some rest.

I never been to this resort and looks good in the pictures, but the comment section seems to be fun, kudos to the admin! Please cool down admin!

We booked the stay via Ecoplore, as it is listed as a eco stay. But what I saw was more than that. It was a true family feeling. We checked in at 5am and the owner himself came to the reception to show us to the rooms. Since we were 2 female travelers, he arranged transportation for us to travel to nearby destinations, safely and that too at an affordable price. The food was too good, cooked by the owner's wife. We ate all 3 meals at the resort. There's so much beauty at the resort. The room and the bathroom are really big and spacious. Swimming pool is too big! We climbed up the water tank of the resort and the view from there was just too good. Would recommend this property to everybody coming to here!

Please don't go there. Worst experience. Receptionist treat us very badly. He is drunk while talking. Very worst. We spent so much of money to get in there but they treat us begging. Never visit and suggest this again Edit: see the response from owner. And you guys will regret what you treat us. Worst service with high price.
