Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Indian Summer House. Beautiful rooms, amenities, helpful driverand the kitchen staff are so very friendly. The meals were well prepared and very tasty. I highly recommend to others looking for a relaxing retreat to stay here. I will be back again if ever in the area. Thank you

There can be nothing better than a 'Writer's Retreat' run by Dr Caroline van de Pol at Indian Summer House, Muvatupuzha, Kerala, India. Each day we had a group tutorial in the morning and could arrange a single session 1:1 in the afternoon. We also had excursions in the late afternoon, unforgettable places and people. In the evenings, we'd come together, and share, if we wanted to, our thoughts and writings. It was an amazing adventure

Wow! Came here with my adult sons and husband after a 15 night trip around Kerala. We had the place to ourselves. It's just beautiful-every part of it. It brought tears to my eyes. Basically it's someone's home, with 5 stunning rooms. Even though they are often away-it has that personal hospitality vibe. This is not the place for a big group if you expect to be brought food and drink 24/7 and your every need constantly waited on. There is a small and efficient staff who will welcome you as family, and some sort of flexible routine that you need to work with. Raj presented us with a light lunch after our swim and cooked beautiful food. He took us on a quick canoe trip across the river which we loved, shopping and out for tea. It was all so different and fun. The tea shop is very simple, but the owners are lovely, the food was so tasty and authentic and the shop we went to was fascinating, and who knew you could fit 6 people in a tuk tuk! We were shown where to help ourselves to drinks any time of the day, and there were fresh towels, and jugs of water poolside. We needed 1 more day here. It was the perfect end to our trip.

Beautiful place. Wonderful rooms and very well appointed. Friendly and warm staff. Nice food. The Chef gave us a traditional Kerala Thali served on a banana leaf. Enjoyed it thoroughly . Would recommend it to anyone

One of the best resorts I've come across in Ernakulam. I had recently conducted an event here. The staffs were very helpful and kind. The place is very calm and beautifully maintained. The rooms are very clean, well maintained and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Outstanding is not the word. A place done with lots of love and care. Blending with nature. 'Made' the architect from Bali has excelled himself. Coupled with the care and jovial banter of Don who runs the place, it's a different experience. Rajesh the chef is truly"delicious".
