Indian Railway Retiring Room - Waiting room in Ahmedabad - Ahmadabad, India

Located on Platform No.1 first floor. You can take the lift or stair for first floor. I'm not able to find accomodation in room as all are already booked so I stayed in Dormitory which is quite very good and comfortable. Everyone have their own couch. If you come for business then it's very cheap and comfortable too.

Neat and clean. It is fully air conditioned so it is really comfortable. The big rooms are well sufficient for a family of 4 to 5 and small room is for 2 to 3. They serve food on cost basis and there is also dinning place. It is very cost reliable slightly less than 20-30% less comparted to booking rooms at Ahmedabad City.

The waiting room is good and clean but the only thing is that it should be on center of platform number 1 rather than starting

Good and tidy retiring rooms present in the first floor having stairs just in front of the executive lounge if you are coming from outside. There is a lift present so it will be easy for the heavy luggage. It is better to book the retiring room through the irctc website instead of offline and get a print out of it so you don't have to tell each and every detail to the receptionist. We had booked an ac family room that was impressively large having two double beds. The room was clean and so was the washroom. Overall, it was a nice stay and better than staying outside giving a hefty amount.

Worst rooms. Charges as good as 4 star hotel. Not worth for money.

The room was okay but you have to walk more, it is located behind the upper bridge. They lacked the technology there were three screens and were showing the different timings of the same train.

The convenience takes all the points. Recommend pre-booking as they usually do not have spare rooms. Service was not great, they forgot to serve us tea. The sheets were also not changed, we had to ask them to get that done.

Dirty, beds are very noisy, no blanket and water facility are available. Costly.
