IIT Ropar is one of the newly constructed IITs with a beautiful campus. It is still under construction, and it will be best in the coming years. All needy things are available inside the campus. Rupnagar is the nearest railway station, approximately 7.8 KM from the main campus.

The beautiful campus situated near river satluj,with a touch of history of the place, this institute is one of the best institute in terms of teaching, in terms of research, architecture and other things.The campus is spread over 501 acres with almost all facilities inside including grocery shops, stationary shop, post office,bank,medical center etc.Also sports complex is under development which includes cricket pitch, hockey ground,football ground, athletics,volleyball court, tenis court, badminton court.good mess facility and best hostels.

It was a great experience to visit this institution. The architecture and layout of buildings are mesmerizing and the location is close to nature. The classes & labs are top notch and hostels are neat & clean.

It's very nice place. I enjoy campus life two days with my son. I never think before that I will celebrate my 15th august at IIT . I m proud of my son.

Nice and large campus Host BAJA SAEINDIA phase 2 every year Nice canteen and hostel facilities Large campus ground and clean roads Visited 2 times at this place , fresh atmosphere Also the bus service is good for visitors ,it is helpful,ask the security they will tell you Supportive staff

Hostel accomodation is not good. New girls hostel accomodates 3 girls in a small room. Room not have any AC or cooler, very difficult to sleep in night in summer. So hostel accommodation is not at other 2008 IITs
