Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai - University in Jevra - Durg, India

Till last year when the campus was in Raipur things were manageable but now on shifting to new campus its become a headache for students. Wifi not working properly, very small rooms, mess is a disaster where no system is followed, food is pathetic, no fruits, no paneer,no dessert, no bread etc are being served. If u want to hv non veg or eggs pay extra. Even for curd pay extra. A child is not allowed to take more than twice. Ac's not working. No hot ware.

This college is also best and it have good environment Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhilai was founded in Chhattisgarh by the MHRD in 2016. It offers nearly 20 courses at UG, PG and PhD level. These courses are offered under the departments of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Liberal Arts. The Institute is presently conducting all the activities in its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC), Raipur.

IIT Bhilai is the right place to do electrical and computer engineering and go in to work in cyber physical systems. And after mechanical engineering in automation and electric vehicles. The new campus is all set to open on Jan 2023.

Nice Atmosphere

Premier Institute but permanent campus not having. Temporary campus situated Government Engineering College Raipur. May be 2023 permanent campus shift. Placements are also good but if take admission prefer top NIT if alloted. NIT Allahabad, Trichy, Warangal, Surthkhal is more better than IIT Bhilai. Reason behind the new setup of IIT Bhilai.

Indeed good environment, parking place is big. Washrooms are good, though mirrors were missing

It's a good institute because of its management system that controls all of the sectors through technology. It will be a better one next two or three years in its new campus for its structure and accomodations for students as well as other access.
