Classes of 1st year and 2nd year students are conducted here. The classes of 3rd and 4th year students are conducted at IIIT Ranchi New campus,HEC , Dhurwa. PROS : 1.The hostel rooms are newly built and very well maintained. 2.The academics is good and placements are also improving every year. (This year total 12 students bagged salary of more than 45 LPA from Amazon). 3.Does not allow company below 7.5 LPA for placements. 4.Classrooms are fully AC. 5.Indoor sports facility is good , we also have volleyball and tennis court . 6.Lush green area and very cool climate throughout the year in Ranchi. Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi is also popular iiits it have good facility . autonomous institute setup by the MoE, Government of India, and Government of Jharkhand along with the industry partners Tata Motors, TCS and CCL on a Public Private Partnership. + Few rooms have ACs (that work!) + Mess food is okay (food is too good during admission time ) + Good washrooms (with geysers) + JioFibre (speed capped) - Frequent loadshedding - Girls stay in Jupmi - No washing machine - No canteen (but there are shops and stalls outside) - Seniors may ask for intro (but only 1st year classes are held in Namkum) - Plan of rooms is pretty weird (some rooms need to share washrooms, some need to live in the hall) Fees is very high (12 lakhs for 4 years) but roi is pretty good (median package was ~12 lpa in 2023)
