ICH is situated near to Vaikom Mahadeva temple and Vaikom boat jetty. The food I got was tasty . Even the fresh juices and snacks was good.
A place were you can eat without any fear, especially now a days. * Their vegitarian items are good. * I will recommend the Indian coffee house specials. * Good service. ** No special parking space, and the auto stand in front makes two wheeler parking difficult. ** Small and old toilets. ** Small washing space also. ** Need some improvements in these.
Indian coffee house is a restaurant chain run by a series of worker co-operative societies. Their Masala Dosa is famous for the difference in colour. The special ingredient is beetroot. And the colour of beetroot in MASALA makes it unique. I think they have patent for this recipe. The taste is almost same in every "Indian Coffee House" restaurant. The other unique element is their uniform. In Vaikom they should try to improve the amenities and ambience. There are other hotels in Vaikom who provide quality food in better ambience. So the officials should try something new to compete with them(small advice).
They serve healthy food and cost is average. There are having so many branches across Kerala. Must try Carrot juice, Hot coffee , Ghee roast, Veg curry with Appam, Onion oothamapam & Uzhunuwada. I really loved the taste of sambhar here. Best budget restaurant for budget travellers. :-)
Disappointed! The quality of food is not that great. They have to improve in that area, parking is the next big problem as it sits next to the auto stand in boat ferry. As customers comes to dine in even a scooter they find very difficult to park.
I like this hotel very much the food is very good and very tasty the service is very nice [OK] and the atmosphere is just ok and this place have parking space for car,bikes, scooter, cycle etc. It is located near to vaikom boat ferry.
