This canteen is managed by Indian Coffee House and is inside the plant behind the ED works Office building. Quality food is served with nice and hygienic environment. Staff are friendly and approachable. Though the menu is restricted items are ok. Since it's inside the plant it works along the lines of plant general shift timings and on general working days. Tea and snacks are available too. Food quality and quantity is O K. Rates are affordable too. But it takes lot of waiting to get served.
Maintenance was good but the taste was not up to mark.... For that cost it's too high.. Even compared to out side....but the roti was fine.
This is only best place where you can enjoy north indian food with rotis at reasonable rate in the steel plant. The hygiene is excellent and food is also good. Both veg. And non-vegetarian even the staff is friendly and serves the best food.
It is an industry (Visakhapatnam Steel plant) canteen that caters to the needs of employees. Not intended for private.
Located inside the Vizag Steel Plant complex, next to the guest house, ICH is a convenient place for breakfast and dinner. A well maintained restaurant, the service is good and prices reasonable.
Taste is good but price is little high
The staffs are very professional and the service is fast and very quick. All the dishes are home like preparation without much oil and the items are hygiene. The restaurant is very pocket friendly also. No complaints, just 5 stars
The restaurant is mainly for residents, employees of Ukkunagaram. They are major patrons. Outstation guests of ukku house constitute other portion. Food quality is average. They dont accept Ticket restaurant meal card. This is the major flaw from employee point. Hence only two stars. Ambience, furniture is below average. Can improve..
